so i found out i've gotten iliotibial band syndrome, and it's most likely not as serious as patellofemoral pain syndrome
but i'm still worried i'll recover from this right

i'm sorry
i found out my the side of my knees hurt, it's not very serious, but it keeps me from activities and it's not as serious as having pain and injury in the front of your knees

I once had some sort of pain in my left side that would hurt even upon breathing. I recovered from it in one week.
...Yeah, sure, it's not the same thing, but still...

I have muscle that in my left thigh that always hurts when I run.
I did a 3.3k run in 28 minutes because of it :/ |

so i have to reduce workout and stuff for most likely a week??? my mom forbids me to even go to gym before i recovered

otherwise it's not likely an injury unless it hurts when you're not doing intense cardio it can also be that you aren't very fit, that you are pressuring your body too hard when you've probably just begun working out
so start slow don't worry everyone struggles at first, i couldn't even run for 2 minutes without wanting to give up at a speed of 9km/h
