I have to do an audition, all of it will be easy enough for me except for one part where I have to perform a piece. I will be performing on piano, but I have no idea what song to do. I am uncertain of my skill level, but as long as I practice enough I can most compositions. I have performed Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata (first movement) and Bethena Waltz by Scott Joplin recently. I would appreciate suggestions for an audition piece. |

| Another part of it is an assignment that will be given to me in a couple of weeks, but I think I will be fine there as composition is easier than performance for me. |

"Aphex Twin is a very bad entry level IDM artist."
Again, you still have no idea what entry level means. |

Okay, I thought you meant it wasn't impressive or takes no skill (universally opinionated).
I do agree with you though. It is most likely the first artist people listen to when they enter a genre, but that doesn't make it bad sometimes.
Even though when I started getting into electronic I listened to indie crap first than listened to other stuff, and I actually avoided AFX and thought he sucked. Then I liked him.
But most of all I like his acid series (2000-2006) the best. |
