A lot of reasons that you probably couldn't understand if they were spelled out to you.

What's even more pathetic is the people who do the cyber bullying. Sure, the victims can turn off their computer, but it doesn't excuse it happening in the first place.

True, but half of the cyber bullies are really just kidding. That's what others need to understand. Here's a helpful tip on how to not get bullied: Don't take anyone serious on the internet. That's it. |

While I get your point, "Just turn off the computer." Sometimes it isn't that easy.
People will constantly pam your facebook, email, and texts saying you're ugly and how you should kill yourself. Sure you can turn off your computer but remember you still see them around school where they bully you too. They spread rumors in real life and on Facebook and make everyone think lowly about you and harass you to the point where you want it to stop. Sure, suicide is definitely an overreaction but sometimes they don't know what else to do and they're too embarrassed to get help. |

1. Delete Facebook
2. Change email
3. Call the cops if they text your phone
Get them arrested |

| Like I said, sometimes they're too embarrassed to get help. I know, I've had a friend that was cyberbullied. Most people just portray it as facebook name-calling. It's much worse than that. They'll make fake facebook accounts and harass you, make groups putting you down, make people talk down about you. It's just hell. |

@caboose that seems good ideally, but so did Communism, and that went totally wrong. The problem is, when you get bullied all of your life, you become suppliant. You lose the will to fight back, and you just take it, even if they are joking, because you don't have a good understanding of the difference between joking and bullying intentionally. Eventually, all of your emotions, packed away inside a hypothetical balloon, pops said balloon, and that's when serious stuff happens. People kill themselves or others, all because they don't know HOW to A.) tell the difference between joking and insulting and B.) stand up for themselves. It's a sad thing.

@bomb
I live with a social anxiety disorder, I can go a full week without saying more than 10 words at school if I chose to. People just need to chill out once in awhile and realize what they have good. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=1vkWzIivvnE |

Most of the time its annoying girls who derive joy from the derision coming from other girls because they crave drama.
Most of the time it's people who are asking for it.. |

i feel like sometimes people who think they get cyberbullied need to think some things through. like if you're going to post something that may be attention seeking, the wrong attention will be given.
or that if you try to call out a cyber bully its basically poking the bear deeper |

| im not saying that cyber bullying is okay, but just that sometimes the person who thinks they are being bullied isn't exactly innocent. |
