So I just got this new graphics card from a friend, and I plug it in and what not, but there was no connector from the power supply that would fit in the card.
So my friend also gave me a new supply, which I set up accordingly and connected to the graphics card.
I used an adapter to connect my monitor to the card.
But when I turn my computer on, my monitor stays as a black screen and the fan won't stop running.

| Try adjusting the output/input of your monitor, also check your computer's compatibility it may be an case the hardware in your computer is incompatible with the graphics card. |

Adjustments not working.
I know the card is compatible considering he was using the card with the same computer only a few days ago. |

| Check the slot graphic's card is sitting in and try an different monitor then I guess. I'm not super computer-savvy I just pick up on stuff while watching my grandmother assemble and disassemble computers to repair them. |

Uh ok.
But that doesn't explain the non-stop fan. |

| I'd check your fan's wiring. If necessary buy an new fan but you should probably look most of this up on google or bing |
