NO support, if anything, the marketplace needs to stay at 30% or higher. Inflation is a major problem, and the marketplace fee is what keeps your robux, tix, and limiteds from being worthless.

KK muppet. Ok, heres how the roblox economy works. It print money, causing inflation, the taxation decreases inflation. Here's what inflation is for muppets i.e You!! A coke is ONE apple at nubcaik1's shop, and TWO at nubcaik2's shop! Why, bare in mind the coke is the same quality/weight? Well there is more rich people near nubcaik2's place than nubcaik1's. But why does this increase the price?
Lets find out!!! Nubcaik1(Nc1), Nc2 and Nc3 are shoppers. DominusPrimus1(DP1) and DP2 are sellers! Nc1 and Nc2 go to DP1's shop, and Nc3 goes to DP2's shop. Now they all get ONE apple, BUT Nc3 steals Nc2's apple!! Nc3 has TWO apple can buy more cokes than Nc2 and 1! But DP2 is greedy, so he puts the prices up. So the value of the apples of Nc3's apples goes down :(. So why doesn't he go to DP1's place? Well, DP1 see this and goes mhm, well I can get more money too! So he increase his price! Getit? No?
Explation: Because one person has more money, he can afford to buy more, so the shop keeper puts the price up, making his money worth less, then other shop keepers follow suit due to greed.
Sarcasm and jokes aside, this will kill the robloxian economy. Like, actually, full on, MURDER it XD. If I didn't explain it well, I'm checking this thread so Q&A's away! |

Folks, TheDominusPrius knows his stuff. Lowering the marketplace fee kills the economy making all the hats, money, and money you put into roblox, utterly useless.

@TheDominus
If everyone puts their prices way up high, and then one person puts their price low, who is everyone flocking to? The really high priced items, or the low priced ones? They're flocking to the low price, because they're actually saving money on it, and it's the same value as the more expensive ones that everyone else has.
Other people see this, lower their prices to compensate and make people want to buy their products.
Unless everyone in their catalog decided to raise all of their prices in unison, without one cheap sale, then it wouldn't disrupt the economy.
It's checks and balances. |

@Hays, No, they don't flock to low prices, not at all. I can make a TERRIBLE suit in 5 mins, and sell it for say R$10, or spend an hour and sell it for R$100... Who do you buy? Lets take real life. I see Gerogio Armani, and Primark. Someone gives me free money, and I can buy in either, but the nicer one costs more. Do I wait, get more money (BC) or go cheap? |

Hayes, Sellers will not just drop their prices to please the customers. They are greedy, and Want to have a profit. If his competitors are surviving with high prices, he will bump up to make a higher profit. There comes a point where he will be losing money if he does drop his prices, and as long as the guys selling for higher prices are making a larger profit, they wont drop their prices.

| I think this should only apply to R$ so that it can help balance the severe inflation of Tickets. Otherwise, support. |

Just because an item is cheap does not mean its low quality, especially in ROBLOX economy. Just a few minutes ago I saw a shirt that costed 100 million, it looked horrible. People can make good items for low prices and thus they get more customers because theyre all getting the same thing.
Lets say you were going grocery shopping, and you saw a loaf of bread. This loaf of bread costed $5 per loaf. You could see across the street that there was another loaf of bread for $2. Does this mean the $5 loaf is more valuable, and is better for you? No. It means the seller has put the price up higher for a better profit. The person is more likely to get the cheaper of the two.
The seller may not have gotten $5 for his loaf, but he is catching more customers out of it because its cheaper, which still gives him great profit out of his item. |

Read my previous posts. (Please note I come from a fairly wealthy background) I like to wear Ralph Lauren. For 3 reasons. 1: (Real Life only) Things from primmark are made in a sweat shop. 1: Cheap stuff is often a copy 2: You know that you EARNT the money (in some cases) to wear an expensive shirt, and others will see that en crested polo pony and know that to, so it's a symbol of pride 3: The one MOST BCers on this site have to wear Kestrel ect. ect. is that they are ostentatious (Showy offy), not for me personally, but others. I wear it for 2 and 1 |

Dominus has an amazing point there, but there is one little problem: We can't steal things in ROBLOX without finding a way into the others accounts, we still have the pricefloor, and finally... Our ROBUX system, as an unofficial certified currency (because you can convert money to and back) is screwed up, making an unbalance between redeeming it (buy ROBLOX) and transferring it back. (DevEx) And don't forget tickets. All market problems are revolving around that ONE big problem, and before any others are solved, THINK ABOUT THAT ONE. Also, the thing about taxes, is where does that money from the tax go? Poof, nowhere, dead. ROBLOX doesn't take it. They don't need it. Who takes the Tax? |

@Solman, The point I conveyed was that what if one person had more apples than the other, he didn't have to steal them |
