So, I added Velocity to the railing, but the Gondola still wont move on it:(

Did you add Velocity in the correct Axis? Try all three, it depends on how you placed the railing brick. Make sure you didn't change the RotVelocity, that is only for rotation. |

Gondola = not anchored
Velocity = correct axis. |

Increase the Friction on the rail and the part of the gondola that sits on it. Friction 0 = slippery, Friction 2 = max. |
