| It's terrible, nothing like what you'd expect from an Elder Scrolls game. It's going to fall just as bad as the overhyped Star Wars the old republic did. It's unfortunate :\ but they should have listened to the players rather than being greedy |

ESO has flaws, but I disagree with people who say it's not like an ES game it's basically an ES game with a different UI, and the game altered to convert to an mmo |

I don't mind paying since I've been a fan of the elder scrolls series for so long and I already love the game itself.
ESO is really fun and I can't wait to discover more once the full game comes out. I can easily see myself spending many hours playing.
After all, if you pay it's really your decision. It's just like WoW, those who play don't mind paying because they love the game.

It's just like any other TES game.
The lore is the same, the combat is the same and the landscapes and what not are the same.
The only thing that's a bit different is when you're using magic, but I actually enjoy it that way. I don't feel like I feel with other MMO games when I play eso.
But I guess everyone has different opinions or something.

I don't mind NOT paying, but if they actually made an Elder Scrolls like MMO rather than an MMO like Elder Scrolls game, I WOULD pay for it.
Biggest things I hate about ESO: Horrible graphics and the hotbar. Instead of the live action 'swing your sword' type combat, you just click a button like WoW and it goes 'Swing, swing swing, automatically. That's why I DON'T play WoW. Bleh |

| I think the ability mechanics are the main difference from Skyrim, and it's a positive difference. |

Have you played? You don't just click a button and then it fights for you. And the graphics are bad, sure, but I mean there's so much gameplay and places to explore it doesn't really matter. At the end of the day it's really the gameplay that matters imo.

Graphics are pretty much the best MMO graphics I've ever seen. They're not quite as good as Skyrim, but Zenimax aren't magic; you can either have slightly lower graphics and multiplayer, or you can have higher single player skyrim graphics.
And what are you talking about the combat, thought you said you'd played the game.
I'm not worried about the mechanics of the game, imo they're great; there are issues with ESO, but these aren't any of them. |

| Sure gameplay matters more, but given the choice between Pacman, and the horribly low framerate Pacman on the Atari-2600, I'd rather play the former |
