some ppl are convincing me to do tennis even tho i've never played before. pretty much all my friends are on the v and jv tennis teams. idk it looks fun and there are other cool ppl who haven't played b4.
or i can do track, which i'm good but not amazing at (about a 5 flat mile). a lot of ghetto kids do track for football prep.
which one qq don't say some other sport tho these r my only options |

"I'm not that good at track" >5 minute flat mile
Unless you are in college you probably don't even run track. |

| see the reason i was partly being persuaded easily into doing tennis is because it's an "actual" sport. track takes TONS of self-discipline and work, more than a lot of sports. but it'd kind of be cool to play a sport that involves throwing/hitting a ball in some way or form. |

| Tennis is boring unless you are playing and not taking turns. Running is boring unless you want to get fit. |

Track is life, lad. But overall, I did soccer before track.

I implied the only way running 5 flat is bad is if you are in college
Also inplied you have no idea what you are talking about, which you just proved. |

well i misinterpreted what u said, and it would undoubtedly a little bit ambiguous. anyways, the reason i was being modest was because it detracts from the argument: "well ur really good at track, why do tennis if you've never played?"
and plus, my district/school is SUPER competitive and has tons of good runners. several kids ik got recruited for running in college last year (for Stanford, Carnegie Mellon, my state school MSU, and somewhere else). |

and competition - that's a reason not to do it btw and decide to take up tennis. i already basically know who will get spots to districts, and be able to subsequently go to state. and im not one of them lol. our coach has a soft spot for putting a lot of seniors on the roster for districts too since it's their last year (esp. if they work hard).
anyways, done with my rant
gracias c&g |
