that schools are making it to a point where you care more about GPA instead of actually learning something. Like I could take P.E, Keyboarding, and some other easy class to boost my GPA. I hate how a lot is based on GPA, instead of the classes you take/how well you score in them(well i guess thats what ACT/SAT are for) but main point is schools shouldn't make it to a point where GPA is taking over the person's life and whatever shows on the transcript doesn't mean anything because they didn't learn anything.
There could be a kid who has a 4.0 gpa and took all easy classes and a kid who has a 3.1 gpa who took all hard classes and actually learned something. smh |

1. PE is the only class that doesn't calculate towards your GPA 2. Colleges know which courses are hard and which ones aren't. They DO accept and reject people based on course selections. You will get rejected if you have a transcript full of dumb classes |

| What looks better, a kid with a average GPA that took harder classes, or a kid with a high GPA that took easy classes. |

| Plus you get extra points added to your GPA for taking an advanced or honors course. That's how people end up with GPA's above 4.0 |

@Dead
The first one. I know kids at public school who don't even have homework and learn nothing here that wouldn't get accepted into Texas Tech with a 4.0 but I would get in with a 2.8
The system is actually pretty fair |
