For those of you who don't know how ineffective dev ex. is, here's how things measure up.
"Total cash earned since October: $68,350 41 developers earned a total of $17,650 in January Average January earnings per person: $284.68 71 developers earned a total of $16,550 in December Average December earnings per person: $233.10"
First off, someone is REALLY bad at math...
17,650/41 = $430.48 per person in January (rounded down)
How the number 284.68 was found is beyond me.....numbers being boosted?
We also know from the January numbers that there was at least 2 (arguably 3) users that cashed out $2000
this means that 23% to 34% of this total went to 5% to 7% of the mentioned users
this means that everyone else using dev ex. received on average $350 to $306.58
That's not even a 4th of what the big rollers made. I won't bore you with standard economics, but to be certain, only 8 people account for over 60% of that $17,650, and lets not even get into what the numbers are on a roblox wide scale...
Comparative to December's results, there has been a 6% increase in money shelled out while there has been a %43 DECREASE in the amount of people who use dev. ex.
Now if you've made it this far and understand what is being said, you probably feel angry. Who will you blame? |

Don't believe the hype guys, dev. ex is good and all, but on a mass scale, its ineffective.
All the information is in the blog, you just have to take the time to pull the lies together and hang roblox by the truth.... |

| It's still real life money you get from virtual money. There's not a real problem with that. And $300-$350 per month is pretty good, by my standards. |

Actually, the earnings for January are correct, but we understated the number of people who cashed out last month (that will be corrected), so thanks for pointing that out.
The rest of *your* calculations are not correct, however. First of all, the number of people who take advantage of DevEx continues to grow each month, and we expect that it will continue to do so. Month-to-date DevEx requests for February are already well ahead of the pace of previous months. So any claim that there's a decrease in the use of DevEx is way, way wrong.
Furthermore, if you've been reading the blog you would know that the new maximum of $2000/month was not available until this month -- the maximum someone could cash out in January was $500 (so those calculations about "big rollers" are incorrect). And though we've highlighted two developers who have now cashed out at $2000, there have actually been several people who are cashing out at that level (as well as at $1000), with an increase in the number requesting $500.
DevEx has been a great success in its first few months, and we have every expectation that it will continue to be.

| @ justice. You claim dev. ex is helping more people, but the numbers your people provided show a drop between December and January. Stats aside, anyone can see that "dev. ex helping more people" is cut and dry just not true. |
