With new laws, the union is worthless.
And by the way, I'm talking about America, US. |

| Are you saying outlaw them? If so, I disagree. I think unions are protected under the right to freedom of expression and assembly. However, I believe workers should have a choice on whether to join and pay dues to a union, and employers should be able to fire people for joining a union or striking with one. |

Only outlaw Unions for specific jobs, i.e., Trucking.
The Union is worth more in use in freight jobs. |

| Why trucking unions in particular? The only place banning unions would seem reasonable is in public sector jobs. But why trucking? |

Well, in the state of Ohio, truckers must at least have 8 hours of rest. |

| If my boss was being a huge jerk, and I really loved my job, I would organize with other workers and try to reach a compromise. |

Because the truckers don't have to work long hours, silly. |

Exactly what happened in the Italian movie: "I Compagni". |

| But labor unions aren't only concerned with working long hours. They also work for pay raises, benefits, bad management, etc. |

"What's it about?"
It's based on a true story.
In the city of Turin, Italy, factory workers aren't happy with their working hours, they form a committee, next comes a Socialist professor that encourages the workers to strike and ask for less hours.
It's a great movie. The workers were on strike and they were poor. |
