Index: SAiC; Special Agents in Charge MCRT; Major Case Response Team - Made up of in-the-ranks agents. CRT; Contingency Response Team - Made up of special tactics agents in one rank. ACA; Academy. Suspensions. Tryouts/Interviews. Uniform. ------------------------------------------ The Special Agents in Charge are the Directors of certain teams/divisions of NCIS, they are appointed by the director, and may be replaced at his will. Each Special Agent in Charge may have 2 Assistant Special Agents in Charge, replaceable by them or the Deputy Director+ at any time. The most senior Special Agent in Charge is the Resident Operations Director for the Naval Installation, he may also have 2 Assistants, making the total number of ASACs, 8. ------------------------------------------
The Major Case Response Team is a group of 6 Agents (SAC, ASAC (x2), Four Agents of Assorted Rank). The four assorted ranked agents are appointed by the director, while the SAC and ASAC are appointed by the above clause. The purpose of the MCRT is to conduct in depth investigations, splitting their duties with the CRT. ------------------------------------------
The Contingency Response Team are the most heavily armed NCIS agents, and they are trained to take down terror operations within the naval installation, or just general high risk situations, maximum 8 operators, not including the SAC and ASACs. ------------------------------------------
The Naval Criminal Investigative Service Academy is where NCIS trainees will be trained and evaluated before actually joining the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, the Special Agent in Charge of the Academy manages the entire Academy. ------------------------------------------
The rest of the agents are general agents, protecting naval personnel, guarding navy ships, conducting crime scene analysis, etc. ------------------------------------------
Suspensions:
1 day suspension- Will occur if a minor crime is committed.
3 days suspension- Occurs if you commit a moderate crime.
6 days suspension- Occurs if person commits a major crime and high ranking officials think you should stay (Rare).
Exile-If an agent has done a severe crime affecting other agents and civilians. ------------------------------------------
Tryouts and Interviews can only be done by Special Agents in Charge and above. Assistant Special Agents in Charge and Contingency Response Team require permission to host tryouts or interviews. ------------------------------------------ Uniform
