| You can't apply for a warning. If you are lucky, the moderator realizes that that wasn't what you were trying to say, and doesn't throw a warning at you. |

| No and it is not worth your time. Just accept the warning and move on. |

I don't think you can appeal for getting a warning. However people make common type errors, it happens a lot. I woulds till contact info@roblox.com via e-mail and tell them what happened. Then you should be able to appeal.
If they wouldn't appeal something like that, then why would they appeal a more severe ban? |

| You can't appeal a warning or a one day ban. There would be no real purpose to as we don't remove the action from your moderation history if you appeal it. Appeals just remove bans. |

| Well then moderation is corrupt. I'm sorry about that, but if someone makes a mistake in typing a message and it comes out wrong and they get a warning for something they didn't even mean, then they should be able to contact info@roblox.com and info@roblox.com removes that part off their moderation history. It only makes sense. |

| Slingshot, I have a question - I read somewhere in your Help pages that 'bans add up', and that you will get a permanent ban after being banned for one thing multiple times. Because of this, I wanted to appeal my warning, because it was absolute nonsense. The moderator must have read it wrong, and I didn't want it to get me a ban when I actually did do something like he was thinking I did. How long does that warning remain significant to actions moderators take? |

People can easily lie about something being a mistake. Just accept the moderation history and move on. You can't forum without having some moderation taken against you at least once.

| But what he said made complete sense. Flappy bird is an ios game. He accidentally forgot to type the "l" and then got moderation history. |

| Exactly, but your time will come. You will make a typo and get a warning and feel just like him. |

Great questions guys.
@Davey314; Due to the nature of the forums and some of the more troublesome users, we are required to give out such warnings because players are *constantly* trying to break our rules by making it seem innocent. They claim "Whoops, I didn't MEAN to do that" even though they actually did. Though I don't think that is what happened in this case, the warning was still necessary.
@Modoveex; Yes and no. Yes, moderation history does add up. But no, it won't result in a perma ban (usually). We look at recent moderation history to determine current punishment. If you did something wrong a month ago, we don't normally factor that into our punishment. However, in special cases where a users is REALLY bad we will take the entire moderation history into account. But don't worry, this is extremely rare and only happens to *clearly* bad users.

I don't really see warnings as punishments anymore anyway. More like a reminder of, "yes, that and that is bad, don't do it again". It helps, to be honest. |

Okay then. Hey be grateful a moderator even takes your side on this case, however it is required to give those kinds of warnings. He said that people do that a lot with the whole "Boy who cried wolf" thing. I understand it a lot better now. With the millions of players on roblox right now, it's hard to let people get away with even typos because they could mean it as a joke and they need to be warned for it.
However @SlingshotJunkie your highness, I was warned on one of my accounts for saying "I quit" on my personal description. That isn't fair is it? |
