ROBLOX, stop forcing updates on us.
Outlines were a good example of this. For a month or so outlines were enabled on every place, despite the fact that it made many places look horrible. It took about a month for ROBLOX to give us the option to disable them.
When Studio 2013 was released I hear many people complained about it, because, of course, there was no way to get old Studio back.
And I can see that this will happen in the future.
For example, the beta website layout. It comes up on some new accounts, and I'm willing to bet that it will be put on every account with no choice on the user's part.
And the "Ribbon Bar" in Studio. You can enable it as a beta feature, Tools > Settings > Scroll Down > Beta Features. It's a completely different look and I'm sure some people won't like it.
But ROBLOX will probably force it upon us.
ROBLOX, please, take an extra week of programming and make new (and, if possible, old) updates OPTIONAL. |

Yes yes but what if theres a huge update that makes everything alot easier and graphics are revamped and scripts are differentand everything.....
And you wont update and the games would not work right. |

| Change? I'm not saying all updates are bad. I'm saying ROBLOX should let users choose if they want an update or not. |

*Roblox patches multiple exploits* Nope I want to stay with the exploited version.
*Roblox revamps the graphics* Nope I wanna stay with the old ones.
Etc.
Honestly what would be the benefit of this. |

Guys, I don't mean make EVERY update optional, I mean if make the visible stuff optional. I'm not sure how to explain...
- Exploit patch = Not Optional
- Graphics update = Optional
- New Report System = Not Optional
- New Website Layout = Optional |

@Nikola7007
But those would all just be opinions at this point. What if someone didn't want updates, period?
Every game has updates. A lot of players I keep up with on a game called "Starbound" were disappointed knowing that they'll lose their characters they worked up so hard on getting. But most of them knew that it would've happened eventually, and clearly they see that they will never get them back.

Not all updates please everyone. It harder to make it an option.
If it were easy, then the last thing I would want to see again were those "hint" messages which you could make way before GUI's were introduced. |

@Bvalere
You can still do it with scripting.
Instance.new("Hint", game.Workspace) |
