ROBLOX Studio 2013 has destroyed ROBLOX, and most of us want the ROBLOX studio from 2012 back.
Bad things in ROBLOX Studio 2013: -Severe lag -HEAPS more crashes -Harder to move items -Tools are more confusing -Everything is completely messy -Less to do -Almost everything is hard -Cannot undo when playing in "Build" mode -No pages in toolbox -Everything loads slowly
Good things in ROBLOX Studio 2013: -Collision-free tool

Good things in ROBLOX Studio before 2013 version: -Not much crashes -More than 15,000 blocks needed to cause lag -Everything is clean -Lots of tools and items that are easy to use -Toolboxes, properties, workspace etc. doesn't open up in windows and doesn't disturb vision -Everything is kept simple -Easy to get around in "Edit" mode -Loads toolbox, workspace and game fast

| Now, you are right, alittle. But it is hard to take a naked person seriously. It kinda looks like you are naked, and please tell me it is just a glitch... But, also, you are wrong with stuff. No, it doesn't lag much, the other one lagged to alot. Also, I think this one is easier, it is just that people aren't USED to it yet. I am, and it is good for me. Now ,there are some BAD things about it though... like little stuff. Ya, there are no pages in the tool thingy, but that was the same way with the old studio. So, I am like 48% agreeing with you, and 52 disagreeing with you. |

| For some people, the ROBLOX Studios 2013 is great, and for others, the old ROBLOX Studios is great. WHY NOT JUST KEEP BOTH INSTEAD OF THROWING ONE OF THEM AWAY!!!! GOSH, I HATE WHEN ROBLOX DOESN'T GIVE US A FREAKING OPTION!!!! YOU KNOW, I AM SO PISSED RIGHT NOW BECAUSE I WORKED SO HARD ON MY GAME WITH ROBLOX STUDIOS 2013, AND IT CRASHED!!!! OLD STUDIO HARDLY EVER CRASHED, THE CAMERA WAS FINE, EVERYTHING WAS FINE, WHY DID ROBLOX HAVE TO THROW THAT AWAY?!?!?!??? |

Personaly, I love the new studio. For me, I have not encountered much of the bugs you have listed.

| Totally agree, i hate the new roblox studio 2013, the best idea to solve it is to update roblox so we have the choice to choose from roblox studio 2.0 (2012) and roblox studio 2013 :) |

Studio 2.0 sucks The camera wont let me move I cant play roblox off of studio OR my browser Images don`t load I don`t see a collision free tool Its like I have to make my own version of roblox studio And i have no clue what loading gui is |

While most of the crashes are fixed, there are a few things I would have been happy to see incorporated into studio 2013: ------------------------------------------------------------------ Studio servers: Similar to personal servers, but you can work in studio with another player or two. Some users or groups have collaborative projects, but working together is difficult when building, because you have to build separately or get a copy of the most recent version of the project constantly. It would have been great to see a joint studio build feature. Hopefully it wouldn't end up as a BC only feature.
New parts: Ropes, they would function similar to truss beams, but would have pivot points built into them. They would be anchored ingame automatically.
Gui builder: It's difficult for players to build nice looking UIs. Why not add a feature that lets us build their frames using shapes or a paint program?
Integrating CmdUtl into Studio 2013: Command Utility is perhaps the single most useful building tool any user will encounter. While the standard studio tools are great for beginning builders, they are extremely limited. The 1x, 1/5x, and X scale factors are nice, but are not very useful when building detailed places or objects. It might be beneficial to integrate the Command Utility plugin into Roblox Studio 2013, as an offical part of the program. However, it would need to have a selection of the program, as some users prefer one version over another. I think most builders would feel more inclined to use the basic building tools if the scaling had the option to input increments, such as .0125 studs or 1/3 stud. Right now, the basic studio tools are just far too limited.
------------------------------------------------------------------- Current issues with Studio 2013: I will rank these according to my opinion of their importance.
1)_____The jittery camera: This is currently the most pressing issue with Roblox Studio 2013. While the undo crash and loading crash have been fixed, the camera control is extremely limited, and has a habit of spazzing uncontrollably when I try to rotate the camera using the mouse.
2)_____Faulty Shortcuts: I have to press the shortcut keys numerous times (averaging in the 30s) to duplicate or delete bricks. This is a glitch that I have only when working with studio 2013. The Duplicate shortcut fails to work, and often results in my camera jumping to the right. (I do not have faulty keys on my computer, it is a problem with Studio 2013)
3)_____Placing parts: I am finding it more difficult to place parts with studio 2013. It is most likely a result of the jittery camera and difficulty with the new tool handles. (the orbs you use to move, rotate, and resize parts.)
4)_____Program Error after changing settings: In the interest of performance, I went under the settings and adjusted them to help my PC run the application better. However, in order for the new settings to take effect, I had to restart the program. When I then attempted to reopen the program, it kept giving me error messages. Restarting the computer fixes this problem, but the settings usually return to their default. This occurs every time I attempt to adjust the settings.
5)_____Visuals: I am pleased to say that the program no longer gives me a headache when I look at the Explorer window. However, the visuals of the program should not have been addressed before the stability and performance issues of the program.
6)_____Bevels: Where did they go? I turned them on under the settings, but all I see are featherweight, bevel-less parts. There is also a visual difference between parts that are meshed, and those that are featherweight.
7)_____Featherweight: The coding is helpful, but the lack of transparent parts being featherweight is not amusing. Some places utilize windows, and as such, have transparent parts. However, materials, surfaces, and transparent parts are not affected by the featherweight coding. I would also love to see Featherweight welds, which would allow for welded models to be featherweight and lag the game less.

Studio Servers: it's being worked on. there are some really cool features the content team is adding to help with building and collaborative building.
New Parts: sounds like you mean the new physics stuff such as ropes. those are being worked on, i'm not sure what the current state of them is.
Gui Builder: lots of work, low priority at this time. we would like to do a full blown UI design tool such as the one for MFC in Visual Studio or Qt's Designer.
CmdUtl: that's the nice thing about plugins, you can add functionality that's missing. you can add new buttons, shortcuts, whatever. right now we are working on providing the basic needs and working on stability and performance.
1. working on it now. should be out when it's done with testing. 2. some shortcuts are changed or removed. duplicate command does not exist. i haven't had any problems deleting an object. you might be trying to use backspace which is disabled by default. you can enable backspace delete in settings. 3. could be camera, try after it's been fixed 4. haven't had any problems with settings, can you try with the latest version? what settings aren't saving? there was a bug a while back that we fixed. 5. sometimes we have time while compiling or waiting for a test to run or eating a snack. we do little fun stuff in between. this was just a couple of lines changed, really just editing the style sheet for the tree control, no real code. 6. nothing to do with Studio 7. nothing to do with Studio

Studio Servers: I'm now extremely excited that they're in the works. There weren't any hints until now. I know one of the builders I'm working with on a project will practically be jumping out of his chair when he hears.
New Parts: Glad that new additions are being added on the physics side of the game.
Gui Builder: It's understandable that it isn't a priority at this time, and I know many scripters and UI builders who would love to have an easier way to build them.
1. Nice to know that it's one of the current priorities. 2. The duplicate shortcut was one of the most useful shortcuts in the original studio. I was pressing delete, and it still took around 30 attempts to delete parts. 3. It's not just placing parts, but also trying to grab a specific part. It usually grabs the wrong part, unless I'm extremely far away from other parts. 4. I did have the latest version of studio. But when I tried to turn down or off some of the unnecessary graphics settings, it refused to launch the program. 5. It's nice to know that it wasn't the priority, but just something that was easily fixed in some spare time.

ravager, my game crashes when i try to save my game i know everybody is asking for bug fixes and roblox is going crazy so fix the other problems first |

| Ravanger and RobloTim, it could've been better to keep both versions just incase. Other people has been thinking about the same thing. Don't get rid of the old one, just keep them both and things will work out really well! |

'-Cannot undo when playing in "Build" mode' It's because of the way undo works. It would be extremely difficult to make undo work in this situation.
'-No pages in toolbox' Never got this, although it is apparently common error. Right click and reload.

| Yeah It does crash a lot more and you can not copy paste blocks at least not to my knowledge but it is better in my opinion a lot is the same. Also a lot of the crashes are caused in the script adding one line can crash it so just take it out and work around it. |

| I support 99%. But the other 1% I do like because you can turn the grid off and you can shape and move around blocks without suspension. It helps with making tools and abstract designs. Besides that, we need an option to switch versions, or completely get rid of Studios 2013 |
