Presenting publicly for the first time, the "Navistella" operating system. This brand new technology presents a new play style in the form of multiple in - game user inputs in order to pilot a star ship. Currently the system consists of 5 separate unique stations on board the craft:
1) Captain's Seat. This station, as you may have guessed, is where the leader of the ship's crew seats themselves. As of the writing of this post, the main purpose of this station is to release the clamps in take off, allowing the ship to move freely. Planned upcoming features - Recoloring abilities; ship ownership; emergency evac.
2) Coordinates This station is where the heading is set for the ship. In case you didn't know, the heading is where you are going. It also has a reading that says the current position of the ship, which updates in real time. Planned upcoming features - Completed station.
3) Warp The warp station controls the speed of the ship. This is one of the simpler stations, and includes a chart showing the danger levels for each warp. All warp levels above 6 will damage the engine integrity. Planned upcoming features - Completed station.
4) Status The status station shows all information about the ship, which updates in real time, no buttons pressed. This includes: Current warp, current coordinates, current heading, and engine integrity. Planned upcoming features - None planned currently, but the station is not complete.
5) Engineering The engineering station's primary job is to repair the engine when it is damaged. The process is fairly simple, requiring only the click of a button. Upcoming planned features - None planned currently, but the station is not complete.
Those are all of the stations.
Instructions: First note that the system is meant to be used by multiple people at one time. While it is not recommended to pilot a ship by yourself, it is possible. Before pressing anything else, warp up to your desired speed, and set and engage your heading. Once both of those things have been done, you are prepared for flight. To begin the flight, the captain must press the "Release clamps" button. Upon doing so, if the heading and warp have been set correctly, you and your crew should be in full flight. To know when you have stopped moving and it is safe to stand up, check the coordinates readout. If they are not changing, it is safe to move about. Another handy trick, is to simply use the light. If they are flickering, it means you are still moving at warp speed.
Some handy tricks for planet landing: Set the y much higher then the actual goal, or you will be beneath the planet, or exit the sky box, killing yourself. once you are directly above the planet, you can either set to warp 0 instantly (not recommended) or lower yourself slowly using the y heading and THEN set to warp 0.
Note also that the entire technology is still in BETA, and being built. Be looking out though, as I am updating it almost daily.

The 1.5 (Economy) patch includes several new features which are a show case of how the end product of the game will look similar to.
The newly add rocks allow you to collect randomized ores and then turn them into currency through a process. The rocks that can be mined are dark grey with a white outline. These may currently be found on all of the planets including the spawning green planet. To mine, click on them repeatedly until they can become no smaller. At this point, they will either stay the same or become a new color and outline, each representing a different ore, each with it;s own value. In order to collect ore, walk over them while they are in their smallest form(1x1x1). To see which ore you picked up and what ores you have, a "Materials" GUI can be seen at the top left of your screen. This will keep track and display what ores you have and how many of each. The value of each ore is arranged from left to right, starting with rock(Value of 1) and ending with Dubnium(Value of 6.)
Once you have done your share of mining, go towards the white building located near the spawns. Inside there are 2 transporters, each one marked with a SurfaceGUI part. One says "Ore Exchange" and one says "Weapon Shop." To turn your ores into cash, you need to first go to the ore exchange. The shop interface is pretty self explanatory. After cashing out, press the blue button which reads "Teleport back." Then go through the other transporter titled "Weapon Shop." The interface is extremely similar, except this one offers weapons of varied prices.
ALL PURCHASES MADE AND ALL CURRENCY IS SAVED MEANING THAT WHEN YOU LEAVE AND REJOIN YOU WILL STILL HAVE THE SAME WEAPONS AND CURRENCY.
In the future ships will cost a set amount of currency along with other things,
Upcoming game features in order of release date: 1. Ship purchasing and ownership 2. Planet ownership 3. Factions and communities 4. Varied mining rock types dependent on planet 5. Game Passes V.1.0 6. Ship weapons overall 7. Ships expansion 8. "The Final Frontier" league group for competitive play
Thank you for all of your support through the process of creating this game! Remember that playing the game while it is still in BETA will give you cosmetic perks upon full release which I hope will be sometime within the next 3 - 6 months. Please, please, please leave your suggestions in the game comments and forums. A thumbs up is appreciated along with a like. Thanks!
