My mom was drunk once again. I use to tell myself everything she says to me when she's drunk is just because she's drunk and it doesn't have any meaning. After the hundredth time this happens it's really hard to keep telling yourself that. I shouldn't care about what she thinks, because she doesn't mean anything to me. She doesn't do anything for me. She didn't raise me. I'm nothing like her. But I'm not a tree. I have emotions. It's hard to hear some of the stuff she says to me.
Last night I left a plate out. A god damn plate. She went off about how I'm worthless and I never do anything and how I'm a horrible person and all. Whatever. That doesn't bother me because it's not true at all. I do everything for myself.
The thing that set me off though, is when she brought up my grandma who just passed. The woman who raised me. She was the nicest person you'd ever meet. She was a true angel. She had the nerve to talk about her. That's when I lost it. It took all I had not to hit her, because at that moment I felt like beating her to death. I punched a hole in my wall, smashed the lamp on the floor, hit the front door as hard as I could and even broke that stupid dirty plate, lol. Then I left. It was immature, but I had to do something. I've never been that mad in my life.
I tried to bring it up again today. Guess what though? She just acts like it never happened. She's not drunk so she won't talk to me face to face because she's not an adult. She's a piece of sht. I went off on her and told her everything and how I feel about her and she just sat there and ignored me with a smug look on her face.
I'm not trying to get attention or sympathy, I just needed to vent man.
Just promise me, if any of you have kids, don't be her. |

In a divorced house, fights like this don't happen anymore because of the couple being apart...

I'm not trying to belittle anyone's problems, and I don't want to, because I don't know anything about them and I'm not going to pretend to. This is just an exercise I think in taking a step back, taking a breath, and just letting it all out, in a sense. I can do this without bothering anyone.

It's because I'm sure your dads don't date an ugly, middle aged woman that he left your mom for ! I feel bad for my mom, all she wants to do is keep me and my little brother and my older sisters away from that wh0r3. It really ruins your birthday when your dad takes you bowling with girlfriend, and knowing your mom wants to take you to New York but she can't because is usually isn't her time with us. I can guarentee you that I have a far worse life than all of you guys

Thanks guys. I really do appreciate it. I've been through this many times and I always get through it. It's just so frustrating and so degrading. The thing is though, I have a future. She's wasted her life and she takes it out and me and is trying to shove me down the wrong path and I'm not letting that happen.

Tbrady, I'm sorry. Like I said though, I didn't make this thread trying to start a "Who's life is worse?" competition. Ijust needed to vent man.
