also how are you liking cubase
I've found that FL Studio just isn't working for me (too disorganized with its patterns and stuff along with horrible midi functionality and only 4 send channels) |

I'm actually working on a project, but now I am making some trap beats for Drawsome.
Cubase is great, although I don't like elements very much, I want to get the producer version (7.5) because it has way more features and stuff.. |

trap beats are fun af to make
adding a lot of low brass is the best |

| Idk about trap beats, I've never made them before, so i'll see how Drawsome likes it. |

try adding subbass under every bass drum hit to make it sound huge, and get a really tight hihat to stutter/make the generic rolls on

just synthesize your kicks/bass drums using a sine to get big ones
W&W does the same thing iirc but for big trance kicks |

what do you mean by choppy?
try eqing the different instruments to give them their own space in the mix so that none of them overlap too much |

I'm trying to get the bass sound smooth, but I think i got it.
