The world is changing at a remarkable pace and leaving technology behind as we need to make more and more buildings. Scripters and game builders and the like are going to be left without jobs due to the fact that technology is evolving slower than ever before due to the influx of construction workers. Plus, scripting isn't going to work out since computers are now programming for us due to the fact that technology is evolving at a pace faster than ever. Humans are being left behind in the technological field by the computer's far superior intelligence. Plus no scripter/programmer/game builder has ever made any money, period, no exceptions. It's a hobby. A couple have sold computers, I guess, but that's mostly a construction worker's job. Plus programming is really easy so its a really saturated job market insofar as difficulty in learning the trade, as opposed to factory work. Scripting isn't a good choice because the demand for technology or technological knowledge isn't going to go up, and it may very well go down. Thanks for reading and I hope you reconsider.

I almost thought you were being sincere in your post until I read this: "A couple have sold computers, I guess, but that's mostly a construction worker's job."
Now I know you're just trolling. |

| Programmers don't make computers, they program them. |

Explicit Definition for "Construction Worker": A person skilled in building habitable structures, homes, or similar structures.
I'm not even going to argue with you. Good day. |

| No, computer programming isn't an easy job. It's very difficult-- several orders of magnitude above ROBLOX scripting. |

| It's an easy job, you don't even have to break a sweat. If it was difficult there wouldn't really be so many iPhone apps, but that's a huge saturated market. I mean, its like trying to start an ice-cream eating career. It's enjoyable and easy but people aren't hiring for things that are enjoyable and easy as much, for obvious reasons. |

| Designing iPhone apps is child's play, of course it doesn't pay squat. Try working as a software engineer. |

the problem with programming is that now everyone knows that it's "hot"
I'm anticipating the market to be flooded |

I do not know where you got this information from but weather you are trolling or plain stupid
What you said is the opposite of reality. Scripters are going to be needed more then ever because of the new technology it needs to be scripted and programming witch is the same thing they both require to know a coding language also game designing is at a big time with more indie developers popping out more and more and that is a real good way to make money
Your statement or opinion is wrong and i would advise you to do your homework before you make a statement like this.

That is funny "" Scripters aren't needed at all. Well, Lua scripters at least. ""
First of take a seat and get ready to take some notes
Scripters are always needed and the fact is yes most company do not hire Lua scripters but Lua is a simple language people starting out can learn and after knowing that will help you under stand bigger languages that more company's hire and when you apply you have another language you can put down you know. Even if it is not needed

| The vast majority of people who have jobs for scripting languages don't get paid much. Software engineers pull in big stacks. |
