Seriously. What's with this? It feels like the XBox 1 with ROBLOX.
You are REQUIRED to have an internet connection to launch Studio, and that's because it opens up the start page through the internet. Please allow us to start it in "offline mode", similar to what Steam has going on, so we can work on our places in the car, or anywhere else. Currently, the only way to do so is to connect on a WiFi network, then leave Studio up after the exit range of that WiFi network. That's not easy.
So just let us have an offline mode where you start it up, then it's just the blank page (what you get when you exit out of the start page without a building window up). We can then open the file we wish to edit, and we can edit it, then save it to our computer. I always get an error trying to start Studio without an internet connection, and it's really lame.
Please guys.

I'm not saying they should disallow an internet connection through Studio. I'm saying they should make it start in 'offline mode' if you aren't connected to the internet.

It has to deal with security. It's complicated, though.

Hackers are able to trick out and pimp out their studio when it's not connected to the internet. Idk ask them that's what they told me. This game is horrible and falling apart.

Security Issues. People will complain because their stuff didn't get saved when they weren't connected to the internet.

I pointed out saving to your computer.
I always save my places to a file, because I don't trust ROBLOX. In this 'offline mode', uploading to ROBLOX would be disabled, only saving to the PC would be allowed.

| Because the studio uses a file on the website, like a shirt asset but like a script file allowing roblox to simply update thefile online and have it update ever roblox studio on everyones computer and without that file it allows any user to breach into studios scrips maybe allowing them to admin them self or worse, log into others accounts such as Telamon or Roblox the account and have every hat and so on. |

| Support. Currently you can launch studio offline by starting it twice in succession - the second start should go through. However, you should note that offline studio is incapable of testing players, servers, scripts, meshes, textures, sounds, and animations. |

I'm fine with the lack of all those things.
I just build using stock parts, not usually meshes, due to the fact that they lack materials.

I think this one's worth bumping.
Reading over it again makes me realize it'd be near-impossible, however.

Same thing with Xbox: One.
To prevent hackers, and asset numbers. |

To say that XBox One is preventing hackers is to say that staring into the sun won't hurt your eyes.
This "offline mode" that I proposed so long ago is pretty flawed, I've realized. I haven't played in quite some time, so I'm not up to date with Studio updates, but I don't see why this wouldn't work. Someone did remind me that Studio uses assets from the website, and that's a good point, but those things can be downloaded to the computer (not really that practical, new assets added every day), or disabled in the offline mode.

| It needs to. When you save your game, it uploads to ROBLOX, and you need an internet connection to do so. It also needs internet to gather data and information on your place so you can edit it. |
