It was just a normal day inside the Anuk (En-Ook) Orbital Space station. Everything went smoothly, and there was no attack that day...That could be seen. Suddenly, all the normality’s are gone, and all main power systems inside all 5 sectors go out. The only thing that is still running is the life support systems, which are running on auxiliary power from the engineering sector and will run out of power in 3 weeks. Earth is over 1,000,000 lightyears away from Anuk and will take a month to reach the station, so getting specially trained engineers are not an option. You must rely on your intelligence, wits, limited supplies, and weaponry to find out what caused such a catastrophic power failure and stop it from harming anything else, or escape the station before you run out of power. Just remember, you are extremely vulnerable to attacks due to the stations weapons systems are down and scavengers will try to find items to use.
TL;DR: An orbital space station on the orbit of the planet Anuk (En-Ook) has lost its power and communications after a catastrophic systems failure. The life support is the only system still online in most sectors. You must figure out a way to get the power back online, and figure out what caused the system failure.
~={Weapons}=~ Hard-Light Weapons (Military Issued)
HL P86 - A standard issue Pistol. Highly effective, and can break through most armor.
HL S59 - An Armory found SMG, batteries for the reactor are somewhat abundant.
HL A54 - A standard issue Assault Rifle, powered by a HL reactor that has an option for incendiary rounds.
HL R12 - An Armory found rifle, hard to find reactor batteries for, and has a large clip, but has a Bolt style action.
Laser Weapons (Guard Issued)
L P98 - A small effective pistol that can fire through civilian-issued clothing.
Special Weapons
Officers pistol – An incredible versatile pistol that is able to fire lasers, hardlight, and more if the correct battery or clip is found. This is limited to officers or high military personnel for obvious reasons.
There are more weapons, but I will not be saying what they are to keep them rare.
~={Tools}=~ Tacpad - A tactical pad that can be traced back to the person issued to. This is usually used to get into areas of importance, but can be used to power small small areas of the ship, if need be, though it will use a lot of the Tacpad’s charge, so use this wisely.
Officer TacPad – This is a special edition of the regular TacPad. As the name suggests it is only given to officers and high military personnel, as it has functions and files that are classified, along with a detailed blueprints of the station that can be used against the station if it fell into the wrong hands. It also has a much longer battery life compared to the regular edition of the tacpad.
Torch/Arc Welder - Typically used by guards to break into places when they can’t access it with a Tacpad, though it is available for use by anybody with a valid reason for one. This can be used to help put pieces back together in sector B.
Flashlight - 2 flashlights are assigned to everybody on the station. One is to always be carried with them, the other is to remain on their nightstand unless needed for emergency use. The battery lasts for about 5 hours and charging ports are available throughout the station.
Fusion Cutter - This tool is exclusive to engineers, and it can be used to fix areas of importance. This tool will help in Sector B.
Electronic Repair Kit - This tool is exclusive to Pilots, Gunners, and Engineers. It can be used to fix wiring inside electronics, and contains two extra batteries to power a console. Any item needed for a civilian job.
~={Jobs}=~ Unemployed - You have no job on the station, and only have access to Sector A. All you have is a flashlight, with a possibility of stolen goods.
Any civilian job – Examples of this are, but not limited to: Bartender, waiter, electronics repair man, etc. Standard issue is a flashlight, along with anything that there job might require.
Military - You have access to every sector on the station, along with with the armory, and command bridge. Military Personnel are found in nearly every sector, but are limited to usually 2-3 per sector. Standard Issue is a HL P86 Pistol and HL A54, with 2 extra clips for each, and a Tacpad.
Guard - You have access to every sector, including the command bridge. You don’t have access to the armory. Usually found standing outside doors, acting as a bouncer of sorts. Standard Issue is a L P98, and a Tacpad.
Pilot - You have access to the Command Bridge, the barracks in the Command sector, any civilian sector, and sector D. Pilot standard issue is an electronic repair kit, and a Tacpad.
Gunner - You have access to the Command Bridge, the barracks in the center, and any civilian sector, and sector F. Standard issue is an electronic repair kit, and a Tacpad.
Engineer - You have access to the Sector E, and any civilian sector. Standard issue is a fusion cutter, electronic repair kit, and a Tacpad.
Officers - There are a total of 10 officers on the station. Most of their jobs are classified, but the gist of it is that they help run the ship. Weapons they carry are a special officers pistol, that is incredibly versatile. They can fire lasers, hard light, and more. Anyways, there are 2 officers for sectors C, D, E, F, and G. C being the most versatile and knowledgeable of all functions. The others have extensive knowledge on their sectors main functions and jobs. Captain - I am the captain of the ship, sorry.
Spy – Most of these (if any) will have another job (Most likely a guard, hint hint.) if they’re going to be an effective spy.
~={Sector}=~ A - Main civilian sector. This is where most people will be, unless they have access to go anywhere else. It is the highest sector inside the ship. There is also a large cargo bay in near the north end of the sector.
B - This is where the armory is, though there are risks in this sector just to get to the armory. First of all, half the sector has been blown up due to an attack a few days prior to this power failure. Temporary airlocks have been placed, but you need a space suit with magnetic boots to be able to pass through this area alive.
C - This is the command barracks. Anybody that works inside the Command Bridge has their room inside this sector. This is the second most shielded sector.
D - Hangers. This is where all the hangers on the ship are. Any small spacecraft, fighters, or even occasional freighters are in this area. This is the middle sector.
E - Engineering sector. This is where all important systems are, such as the life support, engine cooling tanks, and other items.
F - Gunnery Sector. This is where the controls for the cannons that are on the stations exterior are. This is where most gunners will be.
G – Security Sector. This is another common place for guards to be, since there are security camera’s throughout all the sectors, except for the command bridge due to security risks. The only job that has access to this sector are the guards.
Command Bridge - This is where most guards, military personnel, and officers will be. It is the highest point of the ship, and the most shielded.
There is tunnel/ladder that goes from every sector.

~={Rules}=~ 1) Story mode! Do not use asterisks to simulate an action! Forum role-playing is different than role-playing inside a game. Do this “I walk into the cargo bay and says “Hello” to the guard.” instead of *walks into the cargo bay* Hi guard *Walks out* 2) No god moding. This makes everybody mad, and it’s pretty safe to say you wont survive multiple rounds to the head. 3) The only admin is me, unless I state otherwise. 4) No romance is allowed, since there is no point I see in this thread. 5) Violence is allowed, but to an extent. Don’t be extremely gory, but give some detail. Keep it between PG and PG-13 would be a general rule of thumb. 6) You can kill, but only if it’s okay with the person you’re trying to kill. 6.1) No one-hit kills. 7) When you enter the cargo bay or armory, state when you’re searching something. I will say what you find to keep stuff rare. 8) "It's not in the rules!" isn't an excuse. I can add or remove rules as I please. 9) Please, no more than 3 characters. |

He is 6'2", at 180 lbs, but skinny and very muscular, which isn't that obvious because of the suit. Personality: He has a very outgoing personality, and really tends to help whenever he can. I mutter. I reach for the commbadge in my pocket and I activate it. "Knight to Engineering," I say, waiting for a response for about a minute. 'Something's not right... I better get to the bridge.' |

I begin running through the hallways, knocking people over as I pass. What reason did I have to care? My station is failing in some point! I soon fine the nearest elevator, which was about three hallways down from where I started running. I try calling the elevator, after a little bit I realize it's not coming. I start messing around with the console to try to route auxiliary power to the elevator, but stop as soon as I find out that it's all in life support. 'Have to take the tunnels, I can't waste any of my TacPad power for a bit.' |

Quickly my eyes adjust to the accustomed darkness. "Seriously, turn the lights on.." I lock down my ships door and begin to make my way toward the passage way door to the other sectors, calling out slowly for anyone there. "Where'd the lot go...?" |

I quickly find the entrance to the main tunnel and I start climbing through it. I eventually get to the ladder, and I start climbing up, a roughly 1 mile trip up. I turn on my flashlight, put it in my mouth, and start climbing. |

I continue climbing up, until I finally reach the command bridge tunnel system. I stop to wipe a few beads of sweat off my face and I climb into the tunnel, and I begin crawling through it. A couple of minutes later I finally reach the entrance to the command bridge. I stand up and hear someone yell 'Captain on deck!' I quickly snap back "Oi, we've got bigger problems than me being in here! Now, can some bloody officer explain to me what the hell is going on?!" |
