I agree with the Eastern conference, although Melo might be able to force NY into the 8th spot.
For the Western Conference, I have this
1) San Antonio Spurs 8) Phoenix Suns
2)Oklahoma City Thunder 7) Dallas Mavericks
3)Portland Trailblazers 6)Houston Rockets
4)Golden State Warriors 5) Los Angeles Clippers
Although I'm not sure about the Suns. With Bledsoe out indefinitely, they'll struggle. They should be able to grab any spot from 8-6 though. |

| I hate how all the Raptors fans go on how their team is so good, they should be talking about how bad the rest of the East is and how luck they've got. |

@Zc, I gotta disagree, dude. Raptors are a good team this year. They're not great, but they are good. They've been ballin since the Rudy trade. And Uriji is without a doubt the best GM in the NBA right now. Look at the starting lineup:
Kyle Lowry: He's been one of the top PG's this year, but goes completely unnoticed. Terrence Ross: He's still developing, but he had that 51 point game awhile back. DeMar Derozan: This guy is scary good. Top 5 SG. Amir Johnson: Defends and rebounds like a boss. Jonas Valunciunas: Like Ross, still developing. But he's been great so far for them
All 5 are terrific players. They just need to up their bench, and they'd be a threat in the East. |

| They're only a threat because of how much the East sucks compared to the top 4 right now, there's only 4 teams over .500 and the Raptors happen to be one. I'll admit Lowry is alright but one performance of 30+ points in a season, he doesn't average a lot. I seriously don't think they'll make past the first round. |

| Sure they've been alright since the Rudy trade but not the best, Indiana has been great, they've got less then 10 losses and we're 40+ games into the season. |

| I'm thinking they'll go to the 2nd round, then losing to either Indiana or Miami in 5 games. |

| I can't see them getting past Atlanta or Chicago if they are potential first round opponents. |

And as far as Lowry goes, he reminds me a bit of Rondo. He does everything on the court. He scores, passes, rebounds, and defends. I'm not saying he's better than Rondo, but he's knocking on the door of the top 5 PG's.
He's severely underrated. |

| Chicago plays tough defense, so they have a shot at taking them out. I don't think Atlanta has the bigs to stop them though. |

Yup. We can definitely agree though that the Raptors aren't in contention for much yet. For the next few years, I think Indiana will be the team to beat.
If the Pacers grab the #1 seed (highly likely) then they should beat Miami in 7 with homecourt advantage |

BTW, it wasn't just 1 30-point performance that we think Lowry is so good, it's the fact that he's been doing EVERYTHING for us, scoring, passing the ball, playing bull-dog defense, getting charges. etc... Lowry also has 4 triple doubles so idk why you assume we're all over Lowry because of his play yesterday.

| I'll probably update this every week or so when teams win or lose it shakes up the projections. |
