When I enter the game, no message even appears. Also, please, I just want you to tell me what's wrong, don't write another different script.
game.Players.PlayerAdded:connect(function(player)
awesome = {"Toby12600"}
for i, v in pairs(awesome) do if player.Name == v then local Message = Instance.new("Message") Message.text = "Toby is here!" Message.Parent = game.Workspace wait(3.5) Message:Remove() end end end)

Lae, give him helpful information, not hate...
I was also having the same problem earlier when I was testing the PlayerAdded thing. I could not get it to work. Why don't you run a loop to check whether or not you are in the server instead? |

while true do wait() for _,thing in ipairs(game.Workspace:GetChildren()) do
That will start you off. Make "thing" look for your character. Or, instead of workspace, you can look in "Players" and say thing.Character. |
