It's funny sometimes, the way things live, die, and then are reborn. One such story, or joke in the comedy that is life, is the one of humanity. We lived, we expanded, we made friends and enemies, and then we died. We came together, made up past conflicts, and made it through the war. But it was a very, very close call.
2584. The Slaughter. 2588. The Gathering. 2593. The Dark Years. 2612. The Shining Light. 2674. The Victory. 2697. The Revenge. 2726. The Alliance. 2740. The End. 2746. The Breaking Point. 2748. Now.
The Galactic Threat Defence and Assessment Coalition, also known as GTDAC, also known simply as Justicar, formed to defend against the opposing aggressor alliance known as the Universal Federation to create Justice and Order, also known as UFJO, also known as Unknown. In 2584, the UFJO attacked the independent systems and captured, slaughtered, or ravaged many. This went on for the next two years. In 2588, many of the systems and peoples both near the attacking front and far away and everywhere in between gathered together, and formed GTDAC. But having newly formed, they were disorganized and many of them, especially those near the attack front, were in chaos. The UFJO could not be stopped.
Then in 2612 enough of the united systems and peoples were ready and able to face the UFJO attackers. They scored victory after victory, pushing UFJO back and reclaiming the systems that had been lost. In 2674, with more victories than they could count, GTDAC had reclaimed all of the systems that UFJO had claimed and had taken a sizeable amount of territory originally belonging to UFJO as well. UFJO officially surrendered. There were celebrations, but mixed in were mourners for all the lives that had been lost in this war, and of several species of aliens both sentient and nonsentient wiped out completely.
Then came 2697. UFJO had rebuilt, had negotiated a portion of their old original territories back, and built up a large industry and economy. GTDAC never let suspicions of UFJO go entirely, but things had been calm for a long time. But it came without warning. UFJO forces attacked quickly and on more fronts than may have been though possible, and on top of all that, with overwhelming force. It turned into a tug of war. Quickly mobilized GTDAC forces against the vicious UFJO armies. And UFJO won this time. GTDAC was forced to surrender unconditionally, and UFJO took away much of their industry, military, and economy.
Now, I'm sure you are wondering where humans were in all of this. Well, Sol, with Earth, was very near to the attack front when the Shining Light started. Humans were involved in the Gathering, though at first we didn't join in with GTDAC. About halfway through the Dark Years though, the Earth government announced that humanity had thrown their lot in with GTDAC. While human ships were not the most numerous or the strongest, they played key parts in several battles. Then in 2724, seeing the numerous losses, humanity withdrew from GTDAC, right along with many others.
In 2726, humanity formed the Confederation for Peace and Prosperity, also known as CPP, also known as The Program. The CPP gathered and started expanding into more and more systems, creating a bubble that was human space. The military was slowly built up. And in 2735, we attacked. Alongside us were other alliances and orders, including the few that remained aligned with GTDAC. For five years, war was waged, each faction striking out at UFJO. Slowly but surely, we won for the second time.
Then in 2746, it all ended. The CPP was dissolved, and human territory broke up into smaller factions, each vying for as much control as they could get. Two years to break away from the remains of the CPP, set up a new government, establish control, get things running, and so forth.
The time is now. We must come together, or we will be broken apart.

3: If your faction is be defeated or you just want to start anew, feel free to make a new FS. However, only one faction per person at a time.
4: Me, and any admins that may be appointed, are not just here to punish, we're also here to help. If anything irregular rises up that you feel merits attention, just ask.
5: Free PVP is allowed, but ask before destroying other player factions.
6: All factions need to be accepted before starting. Not following this rule will result in an auto-declination.
7: All NPC factions are controlled by myself or an admin if anyone is promoted to that position.

Other alien species in faction(Links allowed for their appearance, describe each one): Eion - kind of like the protoss in Starcraft II; the main species. Inhabits Astrosia. Has a mouth (beak) and are not autotrophs like the protoss. Omnivores. Eruthus - greasy amphibians that possess grands that are able to secrete poison that would be fatal if consumed. Their home planet is technically Boch, although there are ones in labs in Astrosia. Tubanans - mammals that secrete an oily substance to keep their skin from drying out. Their home planet is Astrosia, Nuban - a race of marsupials who will defend their offspring fiercely if it is threatened. Inhabits Boch. Abbidon - massive insects who are carnivores, they prey on the Tubanans, although they also have been known to mss with Nuban from time to time. They inhabit Boch.

Other alien species in faction(Links allowed for their appearance, describe each one): The Screll - A race of networked artificial intelligences that reside on Earth and the Moon. The Screll were created by the Humans as tools of war. Screll "bleed" a white conductive fluid when shot, but they don't have any internal organs or nervous system, so the Screll do not feel hunger or pain. They own a few bits of territories on Earth, of which have Shipyards and Factories. They use their own equipment and have a small, but highly advanced Navy. Under order's from the Humans, they primarily created their Navy made up of Dreadnought's, although they do have some highly advanced Frigate's which are used for scouting. They look just like Humans, and are often confused as Humans. The Delogen - The Delogen are a species of large reptilian bipeds native to the planet Havoc, a world known for its harsh environments, scarce resources, and overabundance of vicious predators. The Delogen managed to not only survive on their unforgiving homeworld, but actually thrived in the extreme conditions. Unfortunately, as Delogen society became more technologically advanced, so did their weaponry. The end result is that they destroyed their homeworld in a nuclear war that reduced their race into primitive warring tribes. The Humans, seeking skilled and brave warrior's, came to the planet. They landed and 'up-lifted' the Delogen and made them advanced again. The Delogen, in debt of the Humans, serve as Soldier's. [tl;dr: The Arch is in the Proximini system. There were two wars; the first one was between the Oxium and the Sichon. The second one was between the Arch and the Sichon. The Arch was formed upon the unification of two great nations, the Averon and the Averloar. Sichon was defeated in both wars.]
[part 1 lolololo] The Second Arch of Astrosia is an empire located in the Proximini system. The Arch was formed during the First Wars of Strife, which could be considered a world war, as the conflict enveloped all of Astrosia. The four major powers - the Sichon, the Averon, the Avaloar, and the Chalamein. Divided between two factions, commonly known as the Oxium and the Sichel [named after the Sichon]. The Averon and the Avaloar were allied as the Oxium, whilst the Sichon and the Chalamein created the Sichel. After nearly twenty years of fighting, a major battle broke out, in which the Oxium emerged victorious and territories owned by members of the Sichon were annexed and occupied by the Averon and the Avaloar, becoming the Arch during on Earth was when the Great Depression hit.
Around the time of the Iranian Hostage Crisis, the Sidhon and Chalamein were growing stronger. The Arch failed to prevent the formation of the alliance known as the Sichon, and knowing the devastation of the First War of Strife, in which as high as 250,000,000 people were slaughtered, desperately attempted to bluff the power of their declining military, in which the plot was uncovered and met with public outrage - this was exactly the type of provocation the Sichon needed to start a war. Met with unrest at home and a giant offensive, the Arch began a full scale retreat; major cities had to be abandoned; Oxium, Stroblos, Kerka - and finally a defense was thrown up at Pan Oblivi, the capital, the symbol of the Arch.
The current Soloarch, Kassa, managed to raise up an army numbering nearly two million; against an enemy army almost twice that size. Half the army was drawn from loyal civilians who's military training was virtually non-existent, against a veteran military under superb leadership - it seemed as the odds were against the Arch. It was unknown how the Arch managed to beat the Sichon - was it a mistake, the hand of a god reaching out to help the desperate army defending on a losing side against a ruthless enemy army? Theories claim it was from the High Command of the Sichon; although the Command was generally superb, there were some incompetent generals; this is probably the most likely. Anyhow, the destruction of the main invasion was met with no hesitation from Kassa, in which he lead an army of 250,000 marching for miles and miles, eventually reaching the capital city of Sichon, Loce, which ironically, was taken in a week, since the battle of Pan Oblivi had taken nearly a year
However, the fall of Loce was not going to stop the Sichon - together, they gathered a formidable force of nearly 1,000,000, and on the deserts of Pel'ra, they would face Kassa's reinforced army of 450,000. Despite being heavily outnumbered, Sichon's army was currently lacking in one vital thing - morale.
The first stages of the battle began when Kassa's detachment army of around 20,000 met with a Sichon infantry division of 12,000; after a short clash between the two sides, Sichon retreated, before Kassa gave the orders to pursue, knowing he had the advantage. The dawn of the second day of the battle was met with a massive, brutal aerial and artillery bombardment of the military fort Kigel; overwhelmed by the Arch in two days, it was the largest base in the desert, with almost 10,000 troops retreating to Tome, a nearby city that housed most of the one million Sichon defending against the Arch. A full scale assault of the city began the next day - mobilized units overwhelmed most of the defenders holding the industrial complexes , while aerial assaults devastated the main concentration of the few armored divisions holding against the arch in the Southern sector of Tome, near the memorial for First war dead. Although they did provide vicious resistance that helped the Sichon hold the city for almost two months, until Kassa managed to rout the main force and drive a wedge through them - this battle would be the last major battle that was fought between the Arch and the Sichel, and effectively mark the end of the Second War of Strife.
The Arch then controlled the entire world, and thus, the Second Arch was declared. The second war had lasted for ten years, and cost 100,000,000 lives - although it was not as devastating as the first one, experts claim that it cost more in terms of the economy, money, damaged and destroyed infrastructure, which is just likely to be true.

The geth were created by the quarians as laborers and tools of war. When the geth became sentient and began to question their masters, the quarians attempted to exterminate them. The geth won the resulting war, and reduced the quarians to a race of nomads. The history of the geth's creation and evolution serves as a warning to the rest of the galaxy of the potential dangers of artificial intelligence.
Quarians:The quarians are a nomadic species of humanoid aliens known for their skills with technology and synthetic intelligence. Since their homeworld Rannoch was conquered, the quarians live aboard the Migrant Fleet, a huge collection of starships that travel as a single fleet. Approximately three hundred years before the events of 2674, the quarians created the geth, a species of rudimentary artificial intelligences, to serve as an efficient source of manual labor. However, when the geth gradually became sentient, the quarians became terrified of possible consequences and tried to destroy their creations. The geth won the resulting war and forced their creators into exile.
