Hi. Ok, I'm going to try to make this as simple as possible. I'm planning on making a game similar to loleris's ISF. But I'm going to have it to where all the players in the server are on a a map instead of two. I'm going to have multiple maps, somewhere between 4-10 of them.
----------------------------------------------------
I need it to where they spawn in the lobby and it waits 15 seconds for the next game every time someone wins the round. If someone dies, they automatically get spawned in the lobby. If someone joins in the middle of the match, they spawn in the lobby and wait until the next round.
I also need it to where there's a win-loss leaderboard instead of KOs and WOs because I'm going to need a built in shop script on the side of the screen to by swords.
------------------------------------------------------
>>>>I'm not looking for exact scripts to be made and given to me (although that would be nice, that would waste your time) but instead, since I barely know the basics of scripting, to atleast know how to have a sword shop, win-loss leaderboard, alternating maps (randomly chosen) and a system for spawning in the lobby which is stated in specifics in the first paragraph.<<<<
------------------------------------------------------
So basically, as I said before, it's basically ISF but where all players spawn on a map and i different leaderboard
If you need any other details, just ask. And once again, I'm not trying to sound selfish and force someone to make a script. I just need some details on how I'm going to need to make this and have it function.

So basically...
You want us to make you an entire minigame script? |

No. It's not a minigame at all.
But that's not the point. As I stated before, I just need some steps to get started on this because i know nothing.

Well, if you know nothing, then why are you trying to make a minigame?
Dude, get out. Were not going to make you this script.
Learn Lua yourself and never have to ask us again. |

Oh my god. Are you really this ignorant? I'm trying to make a sword fighting game and I need help MAKING the script. I never said that you HAVE TO MAKE A SCRIPT. Did you read anything I typed at all? I need help WITH scripting and I need to know how to make things function like this. Nowhere n the post it says that you HAVE to make a script, and that wasn't even expected in the first place. I'm asking for help, not work done for me.

| For the spawn thing, make all the spawns located in the lobby. Then, make it so that everytime a new round starts, you teleport them to a certain location via CFrame=CFrame.new(). |

Well, as you previously stated, you know little about the Lua Programming language.
Definition of help: make it easier for (someone) to do something by offering one's services or resources.
How would you, with such little knowledge of Lua, be "helping" in this situation?
Seems like to me you ARE asking us to make you scripts. |

@ec I'm asking FOR help. How do you not understand that I'm asking for a little guidance about this?
@wrecker Thanks, that's helpful.

But that's the thing, your not asking for help. Your literately asking us for a script that you will use.
Help would be:
Need help with a script
print("hello world)
Why isn't this working?
But with you, you never posted a script for us to fix, you just went out and asked us to make you a script. |

Alright, let's see if this sounds better: "I'm making a game but I don't know where to start because I'm not good at scripting. I need help with this because I don't know how to script and I need to learn some of the basics to get me started. Any help? The details are..."
Does that help?

Yes.
Go learn Lua. Then attempt at making your own minigames. |

The purpose of making this thread was for someone helpful to sort of SHOW me how to learn Lua. But apparently that wasn't a good idea.
