| The roads are frozen so no one can leave school and some kids are having to stay there overnight. There are abandoned cars all over the road as well. |

| this like never happens in Alabama. People are crashing and sliding off the roads and there's abandoned cars everywhere. The group of people I was with got 2 cars stuck on the side of the road. |

| It's not that they're forcing people to stay there, though. The roads are so frozen people can't make it to the school to pick up their kids without crashing. |

| Everyone is safe as long as they don't drive but most of them don't want to stay at the school overnight. |

You know what's really weird? About a year ago I wrote a short story about a group of kids who get trapped at school due to the roads closing and they have to spend the night there with 100's of others.

"Why did they even go to school??"
that's what we're all mad about. But luckily we don't have to go to school tomorrow. It would be foolish to send school buses through the sea of abandoned cars that will still be on the roads tomorrow. |

i can also say that the sweltering heat can be annoying down there i find it too hot in new jersey i want to move north a little when i grow up maybe in connecticut

"@rocksrolling well how do you go about driving on iced over roads? we were going like 10 mph and our car almost slid off the road going around a corner."
well since we have experience driving through the snow we also have cars that are more designed in the tires to deal with the snowy/icy roads. your cars are built to not overheat. we do this by slowing down and slowly turning the corner
Excuse me, but that's inappropriate for school. |
