| Intellectually. That's why Pink Floyd is my all-time favorite band. Roger Waters is a brilliant songwriter and I love concept albums. |

I was only referring to songwriting. David Gilmour is a better singer and obviously a better guitarist, but Roger Waters is an incomparable songwriter.
I liked The Division Bell and A Momentary Lapse of Reason, but neither compare with Waters-led albums like Animals and The Wall. |

| Well it depends on what you mean by early. Before Roger Waters led them, Syd Barett did and they were more psychedelic than progressive at that time. I preferred them when he left. He was mentally insane the entire time he was with them. |
