Times can get pretty hard in life, when this happens what make you want to get up in the morning? Even if times aren't hard, what is your motivation or thoughts for the day to come?
--"Your Mom" or anything along those lines will not be accepted as an answer. Try to stay somewhat mature with this. |

@Ocean Not things that you have to do in the morning, although I suppose you could look forward to school, things that make you want to wake up. |

| What about weekends? Surely there must be sometime in which you actually look forward to the day...? |

| Note on the question that I think a couple of you are being confused about: I asked why you WANT to get up in the morning, not why you have to (ex. school) or feel compelled by (ex. Hunger). |

For me it would be because I am curious to see how the day will turn out. Maybe I'll get to make clever jokes in a conversation today. Maybe I'll learn something really interesting. Maybe I'll be inspired. Maybe I'll have a really bad day, or, perhaps, a really good day. It's a mystery that I get to unravel, and that is really exciting to me.
Dreading the day ahead of me won't do me any good. It isn't useful to me in anyway, so why would I do it? |

@Detrotsid, Similar to that, I want to be knighted by the Queen of England (in all honesty, any Queen or King would do), become a Saint, gain a Ph.D, or be given a royal title. Primarily so that when I become a teacher people will have to call me something other than Mr. ____.
Cool dream though, if you are being serious. |

| well what gets me up in the morning is not wanting to go back to sleep and have another nightmare, but thats probly not what your looking for, so i guess it would be that even tho i may not be happy today or anyday, if i cant be happy then i may as well make others happy, even if its only one person, i have accomplished something. |

@Myles, I think that bringing happiness to others can act as a sort of catalyst for making yourself happy. The moment someone tells me that I have made their day it instantly makes mine. As for your nightmares, I am sorry that you are having those. I used to have horrific ones myself, and I consider myself lucky I don't have them very often anymore. Meditation might help with the nightmares, but other than that I don't really know how to help with that. Again, sorry that you have nightmares. I hope you find happiness in both your life and your dreams. |

| @Orx, I tried thinking of that normally, then with a dirty mind, and in both cases I haven't the slightest idea what you mean by that. Unless you literally look forward to having another silverfish(presumably a sort of fish) on your bed. |
