1.look through games, find the type of game that is the least used (so for example don't make an obby, they are overused) 2. search the games list for your idea, this helps find the best idea with the least competition vying for the players that would otherwise play your game! (the scoundrels!) 3. if you don't know how to make something, ask for help! there are plenty of veteran players aching to help you learn (Lua Learners is a good group to learn Lua programing from) 4. don't use free models that weren't designed specifically for your game my a friend 5. don't take advantage of decals, some of the best place images are self created. don't agree? tell me why. (I am not great at building or scripting, don't comment about I should not talk, these are basic ideas!) |
