| I need to move small parts precisely (by like .001) and it's inside another brick so I can't type in the position. This is very tedious and making me not want build. Any way to get past this? |

| Yes, but my point is I have to move an object by .001 and moving them the way it wants me to is so hard getting 79.801 on the Y axis. But when i type this in on the position of the brick it moves it to like 80.801 because there's bricks it is inside of |

| So, i'm making a building and cframing a lot of stuff. I'm building with the Grid off to make everything look unique and less blocky... Collision Check is also off, so blocks can go inside of each other. I made a curve in a balcony i made, but i had to put more bricks inside of the curve to fill up the little hole. I'm trying to move the bricks inside of the curve to be perfect with the Y axis but every time I try to type in the coords on the Y axis to make it perfect, the block goes above all the other ones, because obviously roblox doesn't want me to position blocks inside of others even though collision check is off... |

It does that, it moves above if the a brick is inside another brick.
Just move it to the position you want it. |

Go to the ROBLOX wiki and search CFraming. It will explain how to use the Command bar. You can use it to move a brick by .001 studs without the 'jumpy' movement of CmdUtl.
Another way I do it is to find out the y axis location (for example, 34.251), then type in the x and z axis into the Position lines. This places the brick above the location you want. Next change the y location of the brick to XX.251 (doesn't matter what the XX is as long as it is above all the parts below it. Now change your Grid tool to 1 stud, and and select the Move tool. Slide the brick down into the brick you want it in. It will move down with the fraction of the y staying at .251 until you get to 34.251.
