I've been level 30 for a WHILE now. It's just that I heard ranked is more competitive and that it's a little more toxic than normals.
I've been playing normals for approx 2 years now. So yeah, I'm not sure. I don't know how S4 Placement matches work and I don't know if I'm viable enough to play ranked. I usually don't play LoL every week, I only play it a couple of times a month if I have free time (which doesn't come up often)
btw here is my account: http://www.lolking.net/summoner/na/37988806#history
18 kills/ 5.7 deaths/ 12 assists with Veigar I've been playing Veigar for as long as I remember,
Yeah I'm not sure. Guide me through this, lol.

get 500 normal wins first
sounds extremely steep, but trust me
i started ranked at like 250 wins, was in bronze. now, at 600 wins, i ended season 3 as a silver iii with a matchmaking rank of a silver i.
also, broaden your champion pool, because you won't get mid very often. i recommend having one for each lane, especially support. veigar is fine, in low ranks any champion you're really good at can carry hard as long as you roam to other lanes, push well, and coordinate the team well.
if you get placed in bronze, don't worry. get really good at sona and soraka, then spam ranked games as those. since nobody wants to support, you're fighting a 4v5 because your forced "support" is useless. by supporting, you let everyone do the role they like, the adc mains stuck in bronze can finally carry out because they have a good support, and you make it more likely that it's a 5v4 in terms of player usefulness, not the other way around. i'm 11/6 with sona and 3/1 with soraka, it's so easy. |

ooo thanks
I don't mind playing support though.. It's kinda like doing the easiest slacker job there is in LoL. All you do is keep your AD carry alive or tank and it's awright.
I'll try to get 500 wins, but that's ridiculous in a way. Probably will do that later |

| I'd do the 10 provisional games and see how you feel about Ranked games. Because the emotions in Ranked games are a lot higher than normal. |

I had a friend who won 7/10 of the provisionals but got bronze IV. I don't know if the same will apply to me....
I had games where I verse ALREADY ranked silver elo players. I'm not lying. They already have the silver border around them. What does that mean? To be even more honest, this doesn't happen often, it only happens if i get a winning streak of 3 or more at most, or at random times i do get ranked opponents even though I am an unranked player in normals. |
