| your injury as your brain also associates pain with sights of your own bruises, broken bones, cuts, et cetera |

@robo
You need to go to the doctor for that. If you sprain or break your arm, but don't get it properly healed back into place... future complications in that area could ensue. You could be more susceptible to arthritis in that area. |

"Even seeing an injury on someone else makes me feel pain..."
this is not the same process i am describing on the first post; instead this is the work of your mirror neurons which give you emotional pain when you see others in painful situations
this emotional pain you feel when others get hurt is the most common reason humans help others |

"I've sprained my arm twice and haven't worn a cast/splint"
please just go to a doctor, i can't advise you on this because i am not a physician, but be careful with that |

| I feel no difference after I look at my cuts or injuries. I got cut today, it was pretty long cut, and I kinda laughed cause I was playing with my dog. |

| Like if i got a cut I would do almost nothing about it. I would probably put something on it so my blood doesn't get on my shirt but I wouldn't do anything else. |

"so if i get shot just dont look at it"
if you avoid looking at it, yes, it will decrease the amount of pain you feel by just a little (20%), but if you get shot you need a doctor right away |

One time I was with my friend and we were trying to climb a fence with a bungie cord. The one we were using just so happened to have a metal end. He tried, he couldn't climb the fence. I tried... I was halfway up and then the cord came off the top of the fence. I remember looking into the grass and seeing the sunlight, like a picture. I was wondering how I got on the ground. I got up and walked over to my friend and he just stood there looking at me like he had seen a ghost. I remember him saying "I'm gonna go get my mom..." and I was left there. I looked up, some of my hair had gotten brushed in my face (it was in a ponytail so a few short strands were out). Of course, it was midday and the sun was overhead so the sun glinted off my hair and I could see red. I was old enough to know what that meant so I started screaming at the top of my lungs and putting my hands on my head. I brought one hand back and looked at it. Completely covered in blood... couldn't even see my fingernails.
