There are a lot of FPS games out in the community, rising to the occasion. However, we are taking a whole new approach to the type of FPS, that you expect.
The game will be made by "Advancement", a new team, of highly experienced scriptwriters, who've been around since 2011.
I am on the development team as well, and decided to go ahead, and take in ideas from the community. One difference, in most other FPS games. Is that we want to build the game around the community, completely around ideas that you guys would love to be implemented, so that you can play multiple times, rank up, and enjoy.
First, i'm going to let you guys in on a few things we already have laid out to make, or have already made.
Things Already Implemented: - Rank Ups, Maximum level (60)
- Character Animation (Advanced Running, reloading, etc.)
- Gun Camouflage (Maybe gold, that seems to be hitting the community good.)
- Dynamic Elements, (Derived from Ghosts, player interaction collides with game-play in each server, on each map.)
- Multiple Attachments (Currently, only 4 per class)
Things already considered, not final: - Individual Clothing (Recommended in a comment)
- Multiple Game Modes (Dom, FFA, TDM, CTF, etc.)
- Weapon Pick up (Off the ground, from dead enemies)
- Perks (You know, lightweight, dead silence, etc.)
There is a few things that we have already implemented, and things we have already had recommended to us.
This forum, is to tell you a little about the project, and have you guys tell us, what you would be interested in seeing/playing in the game once it is complete.
We are going to release it in a Pre-Alpha stage, hopefully around early march. Our developers are mainly in high school, or freshman year of college, and don't always have the free time. However, there will be some type of work to the game daily.
We hope you guys are looking forward to this, as we guarantee, this will not be a FPS that you are used to seeing on ROBLOX.

Just to edit a little of that, we are hoping to release a pre-alpha, Feb 19. Alpha, is early march. Then more updates from later, until the grand opening of v1. |

Thanks for the great comment, however. We would really enjoy if you gave us some ideas/things you wants us to add into the game, to make game play more fun, and unique.

Will there be any type of vehicles?
any way my sugesstion:
how about a game mode where one team (10) where they have guns pistols of Ar (assault rifles) and the others have knives and silent pistols, like the ones you see on BF. The goal is to kill the stealth team where there are only 2 players BUT the 2 players are quick and swift and you will not hear their footsteps,also if the other team wins then they are awarded 100 xp or whatever you will call it.
here's the twist. The Alpha team will be in a dark broken down construction zone where the stealth players can move around swiftly and can active destructible environment enabling a secret sound or music.

Oh I'm working on it.
And its 400000X more original than yours.
1B visits is probably not going to happen until roblox's playerbase expands with ANY game but I hope to get on the blog. |

Our FPS? Let's see.
Character In-Game Customization Change.
Meaning, you can change what your ROBLOXian, is wearing via GUI in the game. To match your outfit in the FPS.
Let's see you work with that. Make sure you tell us when you have it, we would be glad to support you with funds for ads. |

i'll whip it up when the basic frameworks done of my game.
Are you getting the image for the item as well? Are you talking about preset clothing like ww2 outfit etc or are you getting the players assets and making clickable buttons for them to equip those? |

Thats not something you master scrub thats something you research API's about and then plug them into a basic GUI.
And thats cosmetic things that don't even change the gameplay.

| It includes user customization, so everyone doesn't look the same. Players can look how they want, instead of choosing from presets. Many people would enjoy looking how they look on ROBLOX, while sticking to the game play. |

I don't think you can do that.
I don't think I can change the players appearance via script due to a lot of problems the least of which being authorization.
Now something that only changes the players appearance in game? Totally. But I don't think you can change the players appearance on site because you don't have access. |

dear god I'm sorry you have no idea what you are talking about.
You CAN, but the authorization would cut you off from doing that. that example required a lot of work on the site side.
YOU, ME, people who can't change the ROBLOX website (all of us) can't do something like that until they give us a method/API/service.
That requires sending HTTP code/requests to the site and editing site data from script which we can't do (otherwise the site would have been compromised a long time ago.) |

| @Allthelimiteds, it would be good to allow players to customize our appearance in the game through pre-sets that can be unlocked/purchased in the game. Also, I find that if you were to let players look like they do on the site, I'm afraid that it's going to be confusing to tell from Ally and Enemy. Infact, even better idea... give each team a specific aesthetic unlocks and "Uniforms". As for weapons, what time era does the game take place? |
