(Note! This rp contains both Magic and Steampunk elements.)
---------Origin------
The world advanced without magic, without gears and steam, straight to the industrial and later modern era. Thus both concepts became obsolete before they could come into existence. Europe and North America particularly as they thrust forward from the grip of the Victorian Era, and greeted the future with open arms. Technologies advanced and so let gears and cogs to rust. Christianity, Islam and other main religions destroyed more 'primitive' practices as such practiced by nomads and American natives...

But what if it didn't happen this way? What if both the energies and powers of Magic existed to keep the pagan traditions stronger, while the innovation and greed of Steampunk tore the Modern Era from the books and replaced it with steam?

---------Basis of the World------
Europe is divided, not just by nationality, language or customs, but by the different powers of each side. The Mechs, a term for the people based on gears and steam, were always at the throats of the Magi, a term for the more magical people, while the Reins try to survive with their monstrosities amidst the conflict.

It seems that the three sides might finally collide to wreak havoc on the continent and their colonies, sparking off what would amount to a World War. As each side tries to rein in their own countries, anything can tip over the scale.

---------Rules----------
1) Other than the 3 different types I talked about( Mechs, Magi and Reins), you can make up a more unique side. I will have to accept it of course.
2) No auto accepts.
3) No perfect/oversized countries.
4) This is about 1 year after the first formations of countries amidst a complete collapse of traditional governments, so everything is in a bit of panic.
5) This is based in during the late Industrial Revolution.
6) Trollers will be first kindly denied, then ignored.
7) The countries should be in Europe, but if you make a good Nation Sheet I might allow you to have your country somewhere else.

(I feel this is my fault, so I will explain:
They basically make what you would call 'mutated' creatures. They don't have much machines or magic, but they mess with living beings to create abominations to help them. The Reins work with Biological sources, the Mechs steel and the Magi Energy.)

(If you not getting it, think of it sorta as Frankenstein monsters but with animals.)

The Guild Order is created to help manage the amount of magic users throughout Dosin territory.

Strikes, though less frequent, still threaten Warsaw as Code Magi try to establish order on the streets.

*Code Magi are basically special police officers who can/do use magic.

(Mechs may have intelligent machines, Reins/Areins intelligent creatures and Magi intelligent unnatural beings.)

The strikes continue, even though the Code Magi have cleared out most of the countryside of Loyalist factions**.

A new being, slightly inhuman, is accepted against the remaining Loyalist's wishes. The new inhumans are known as 'Shanagi', who manipulate shadows.
