I think that people should be charged little when the sound is short, and lots when it's large. As an example, I'll say that a 1 megabyte sound should cost 128R$ + 10R$ for uploading it. I am 100% sure this is a bad price, please enforce your own. If you wanted to upload CHIP02.MID (11,5KB, 0:45), you would be charged 11R$. If you wanted to upload gameover.mp3 (101KB, 0:06), you would be charged 23R$. If you wanted to upload dark.mp3 (1.21MB, 1:20, "high quality"), you would be charged 165R$. And if you wanted to upload sec3.mp3 (3.42MB, 3:45, "high quality", you would be charged 447,76R$. Again, I know this is kind of a terrible price. All this would obviously be capped to avoid 7GB songs and such, easily paid for by our dear OBCs.
I'd also like official midi support that isn't this horrible, terrible, laggy and wrong-sounding alternative we have at the moment. We would have music that loads super fast. |

Oh, and you should be able to insert midi data into special midi objects, kind of like you could back in the day with all sounds. Midis would be free to "upload" this way. I have no idea if audible lyrics in midis are actually possible. |
