I've been debating whether I should get the console or not. Most of my friends are just going to get the Xbox One or PS4 but I don't really feel like getting those as of now. I feel like the Wii U would be a better choice. Any opinions on it? |

If your best friend gets a ps4/xbox one

| I see where you are heading on the friend thing but my only problem is I don't really like the games that are coming out for the new consoles. If I were to get a PS4/Xbox One I would probably only get like 2-3 games (as of now), and that's about it. |

For the PS4/Xbox One I'd probably end up getting Halo 5, Destiny, and maybe Watch Dogs.
For the Wii U I'd probably get the new Smash Bros game, Mario Kart 8, Super Mario 3D World (maybe, this is in case I have friends/family over so we could play it). Those would just be my main games. I'd maybe want to get Animal Crossing, Pikmin, and Wind Waker.
Obliviously it shows I haven't done a lot of research for the PS4/Xbox One, but If I was more likely to buy one maybe I would look more into the games.

| Yeah I feel like that's the only problem. Maybe I drag my sister into playing some of the game with me... :/ Tough decision, I'll have to keep looking into it. |

| If you have friends over often or like a fun and simple console to just play on and have a nice relaxed happy time, then go for it. Wii U may not be amazing, innovative, but hey. It's a fun time for the entire family and it has the old nintendo charm to it. |

@Nos The Wii was innovative with their motion control system The Wii U, not that innovative really, just updated hardware and such.
Also donut... Oculus rift. The thing consoles will not get. |

| I wish them much luck in being able to emulate the power in the rift. The rift has Dual 1080p screens (At the moment, likely to increase) so I see why sony will only be going for the Driving/Flight sim market. |
