| So if anyone has heard the US government is trying to do something about net neutrality and basically we can't go to the internet unless we give them money. If this happens then most of the community of ROBLOX, Steam, XBL, PSN and pretty much all websites will be dead. |

"basically we can't go to the internet unless we give them money."
that's not even what the whole deal is about.

| No I mean it's like Xbox Live but for the internet. You need to pay in order to use it. And I'm not talking about taxes and bills, I mean like a service that you need to pay for. Hard to explain... |

really really bad wording
the end of net neutrality means that ISP companies can discriminately trottle and/or bandwidith cap any website without any question. they can also demand that companies like Netflix or Hulu (the main losers in this debacle) pay them money in order for their customers to be able to view their content, which is basically enabling extortion.
this allows ISPs to rip us off by tiering services. They can essentially block off sites by trottling it to oblivion and force you to buy an higher up (and a more costly) tier to unlock it. they are probably are going to make an "entertainment" tier (which will probably be the most expensive) to unlcok things like Hulu, Netflix or Crunchyroll to bully cord cutters to get back to using cable TV. |

it has nothing to do with money. it's just that the FCC screwed up and let ISPs do whatever the hell they want. |

yes ISPs CAN do this but the thing is they probably won't if someone leaked this then that company would get incredibly bad rep
