== is only used for conditional statements.
= is for assigning. |

I think you don't know what you're doing since you just tried to assign something using ==. |

| == is relatively the same as =, however it depends where you use it in syntax relevant to a value… |

You're a complete moron.
It's not the same at all. I tried explaining this.
== is used for conditional statements, such as
if Workspace.StufFHere == nil then --stuff end
= is for assigning values such as
variableHere = 2 something.Property = This Whatever = wat
etc. |

@Waka did you even read what I just said?
I literally said what you said in smart person terms… extend your vocabulary. |

"smart person terms" I think your vocabulary is the one in need of extension.
"== is relatively the same as =, however it depends where you use it in syntax relevant to a value…"
I was correcting what you said on how they are the same. They aren't the same. They do not serve similar purposes at all. |

They serve almost identical purpose.
It's for assigning a value in both situations… |

No. Not at all!
== is used for checking a condition. = is used for assigning a value. |

A condition is a value, here's how I can prove it…
--Checking a value: local values = {1, 2, 3}
if values[1] == 1 then --checks value of the first value in the table <_< --code end
--Defining a value:
a = 1 b = 2 c = 3
table.insert(values,c) |

| I'm trying to tell you that = is used for assigning and == is used for checking, but you don't get it so whatever. 23k posts of BS on your end, if they're all like this. |

By that logic, a for loop is the same thing as creating a new Instance. "It just depnds on the syntax positioning ahuerheu snortsnort" |
