That would be great if I could get some legit advice from you veteran C&Gers.
I have owned superclans in the past, and I have lost them. I plan to stick with VN, but I am having some problems with it. In the past, I have never had a problem like this with a superclan.
Since fastawesomeperson advertised the group through his games, when he was terminated his games are less popular, so I am not getting new members. Now, members are leaving by the hundreds. I lose around 100 per day.
I ran an ad today, for just 21,000 tix, but I am only getting a few members trickling in.
The group is still active, I got around 12 people to training today in 10 minutes, which is not bad for a week day, but not the best.
[[ TL;DR? Read below vvv ]] My questions is: What should I do? I am lost on what to do, ads are not working, and I am just lost overall. I'm trying everything to get new members, but nothing is working. I just lose around 100 members per day. :/ |

Last weekend I raided groups like HAU, IE, SCR, and VS. I held 12 raids in 2 days. I also held 8 trainings in 2 days.
Activity is at a high, but the people who are active are always the same people. |

| Honestly, let SMART veterans into the group as advisors, considering your high command is nothing compared to people like me who have been High Ranks in SEVERAL superclans. |

Give the group to me. You get 2iC. And my HCOM will help revive it.

People are in clans for fun (obviously).
Your clan apparently isn't fulfilling their desires (I'm captain obvious).
What you need is some fresh activity to excite them. A war with another clan, a radical (but fun, obviously) new base. I also agree with bringing in more veteran clan leaders. |

1) I want to get better high-ranks, but I realize that they are busy with their life at school and other groups. I want active high-ranks. I also don't want the group members to feel like I am giving out free promotions. I also don't know if I can trust some people here, to be honest.
2) I already hold a lot of trainings, I have held 2 a day. Most members agree that I am the most active leader for VN out there.
3) I am not giving out my group to people, you silly? |

222 visits at training last week.. Thats good man.. I'd recommend putting a shout up saying...
[MSG]Recruit 2 active members for a promotion, PM me there names, I'll check and make sure they're in the group. And I'll decide if they're alts or not. If they're alts you will not receive the promo...
I feel like that worked a little bit when I lead my clan.

It also may be that you ended up with a lot of the temporal, roaming type clan members. Seeing that many were brought in through ads supports this case. These are the people who do not desire long-term commitment to a task such as developing relationships within a clan and rising to higher ranks.

What to do; Reform, renovate, make it look nice and appealing, new tech and forts people like that, good uniforms that catch the eye, ads ads and more ads, even C&G'ing helps |

My group is based of a "noob" population. I already know why they are leaving, it's because they don't have VIP at the old leader's games.
I am asking how to resolve from something like that.
My raid activity is really high, and I am trying to give as much hype as I can to the group. I got an awesome holo today for the members to enjoy while training, and I am also setting up an initiation course. I also have different training centers high-ranks can train from. I'm also creating a new fort from scratch. |

@Person questioning superclans
I thought superclans were around 50k+, but then people argued that superclans were anything bigger than 10k+ so I am going with that. |

""I also don't want the group members to feel like I am giving out free promotions.""
It's your clan, own it! You must not allow public perception to override good business decisions. A CEO isn't hired into a company because he had to "work hard" as a secretary to "earn" it, he's hired because he has valuable insight based (assumably) on years of business experience.
Your clan is your property, not a Boyscout club.
""I also don't know if I can trust some people here, to be honest.""
Extremely valid concern, one which there is no mitigation but to be prudent! |

You need to have High Ranks who can transform them into better members.
No, powerclan HR's can't do that.
Also, you need your group to appeal to the population.
With fair numbers now, getting more skilled/serious clanners into your group will be critical, there would be size+quality. |

| Sudden, exile the narbs. Keep the ones who look good, yes this may remove some member count, but who cares? I can get you tech if you need some. I also can assist you with building once I am done with IT development and or free. |

I would also consider sitting down with a pad of paper and evaluating what your goals are, and how those goals should best be met.
Short-term loss is sometimes necessary for long-term gain. |

Here's how I see it:
You built your clan the wrong way. Since you have numbers, go for skill. I would aim for people who have been in power clans (they have gone through a process like TAG or VAC). Once you get enough of those the rest will fill in like clockwork.
