Child: SIMPLE cellphone (makes calls and texts), a television, and maybe ONE friendly game console Teen: Smart Phone, Television, Computer, and maybe ONE game console Adult: anything they want
But kids don't need a smartphone tablet tv computer and every game console to be happy. That's just spoiling them. Teens don't need THAT much to live a happy life either. Adults can do what they want with their own money. STOP SPOILING KIDS Maybe I'm being too generous |

| What? Why should children and teenagers have all that? Why can't they just bring one of their parents' phone for emergencies? Seriously,I do not believe it is worth the money to give a child or teenager a cellphone just for calling their mum or the police. |

@Min Teenagers can call and text their friends, and keep in touch with other people. And can be used for emergencies. It is WAY more efficient for a teen to just have a phone then take their parent's phone. Also, phones can be used for entertainment, because nobody wants to be bored. You can probably take the computer out and just have a phone |

| Why would they call and text people? Besides in an emergency, it doesn't make any sense. You can't trust teenagers to do that and they don't have much reason to do it. Sorry. |

@Mind Because, this is 2014. People like to talk to each other. I would suggest getting out of the 1960s as this period will be hard for you |

| I don't think it's a good idea to give teenagers phones but whatever goes with you. That is most unusual to me. Sincerely sorry for raising my voice here. |

@Mjgaga:
I was born in the new millenium, but the 60's is so awesome. More sophisticated, Groovy, catchy words like 'Fuzz' and 'Tuff'.

@Min Sorry, I was a little rude But society now-a-days has adapted to new technologies, and almost all teens have a smartphone They can surf the web, and be used for education. I take all my notes on my phone. |

@Min I live in a more middle class area. But phones aren't really expensive. The iPhone 4s is free, with 8gb of storage, and it is only $40 a month for unlimited talk and texting. Even the higher-low class people can afford that |

I live in the USA. I am not familiar with other currencies, but I suspect you aren't in the richest of countries? If so then I can see where you can think that phones are unnecessary. You've probably adapted to owning less stuff but remaining happy. Correct me if I'm wrong? |

Oh, I see. Now, in Hungary, are there any websites, like Ebay, that allow you to buy used products for a MUCH lower price? If so then I think that would be your best bet. |

| We can use sites like that. Most people don't. My parents would not and would not let me do it. They are paranoid. |

| What is the point of having a phone? I just use Skype on my computer/tablet. The computer I bought because of academic purposes (originally), and this tablet was a gift. |

I have a tracfone but our cellphone service booster went bad so it's useless at home which sucks because me and my best friend talked daily and now we can't, and parents say no to a facebook.
I have a PC also used as a gaming device for roblox and TF2 and a couple others.
There is a TV in the living room.
I have a wii u and the original nintendo DS. |
