allowed the iPod 4g to have ios7 isn't actually that good of an idea
it's too old and outdated for the software and would completely drain the battery |

Guys, Sandtrooper is correct. There actually is a compatibility issue- don't assume the only reason Apple did it like that is to make money off of you.
And obviously Apple is trying to make money- that's what flippin' companies are for. |

No, companies are not to make money.
They are to provide services to the customer, providing high quality and useful products to satisfy the needs of the customer, and maybe make money doing so.
