I have paid for norton before in the past, but norton is more like a virus then an anti-virus. It's like a virus that blocks other viruses. It always asks you to buy stuff, and whenever you're playing a roblox game it will pop up random things like "High CPU Usage by Roblox Client" and it gets really annoying. So I usually free trial AVG and when my trial runs out after 30 days I uninstall AVG and re-install a new trial. It does get a little annoying doing that every 30 days, but it's better then paying for Anti-virus programs, but I will pay for anti virus once we get our tax check.

There are other anti-virus programs that are free and don't require you to reinstall them periodically.
I've used AVG and don't remember it having timed trials, though I haven't used it since 2008. I use Avira, it also has a free version and the only thing the free version has to deal with is an ad once a day when the program updates its definitions. |

Microsoft Security Essentials has gotten me out of some tough ruts with viruses in the past. I'd recommend it in a heart beat.

Google Avast. They are a very trusty anti-virus and spyware program.

Also, Avast is free with many benefits you need. And it stays free forever; you can upgrade, though.
