But things are made only for money.
The roads you walk in, are for you to go to work and school, so you can make money to pay taxes, and make your company get money so they can pay taxes.
The tickets you buy for the train, and bus, go to the government for a new toy of mass destruction.
The TV, Internet, movies you watch are all paid for so that the movie industry can make more films and get more money.
So yes, money is what makes the world go on. |

You have a point, but making money should be SECOND to making something entertaining.

@gleam
it is an actual thing
they did it during the american thanksgiving
macdonalds did a similar thing, but simply told their employees "sell your christmas gifts" so they can have food |

@mario
wal mart is only as large as it is because it has so much money...
there is no excuse for a retail chain that large to be having canned food drives hosted inside of its walls for the very people that work for the company |

oh right i forgot how silly of me
capitalism has no flaws whatsoever, silly me
how else are poor people going to get money other than working three jobs at minimum wage 12 hours each day?
economists everywhere are stumped |

@mario
walmart has a total of 203.105 billion us currency and 2.2 million employees
lets say the minimum wage is 9$ for every worker (even in the countries like china which it is clearly much lower)
if they took the time to give 5$ per hour to every worker there, that 203.105 billion would be 203.094
try again |

| In the entertainment industry the number one rule should be making art, not money. It's art first and a job second. |

while that may be a noble or even fairly popular ideal, at the end of the day the entertainment industry and those sitting at the top of it exist only for money |

@leslie

| Hilo, if you have any job, you can eat. There are so many social programs that give money to low-income people. |
