Hello I am your new Division CO in the First Infantry, This Forum will explain to you a bit on the Brigades and will be taking affect shortly after this.
75th Fires Brigade - Training - This Brigade is for the new members of the First Infantry, they will need to attend Division Trainings and do well to be known amongst the staff of the First Infantry so that they may continue on into a Brigade.
8th CA Brigade - Aviation - This brigade will be the Soldiers that will jump out of planes and parachute down as Parachutists out in enemies position and flank them dead quickly and efficiently clearing way for the other Brigades to move onward
4th CI Brigade - Infantry - This Infantry is the kind that stays in cover and protect their buddies in combat to make sure less deaths happen on our side as professional as possible.
3rd CI Brigade - Infantry - This Infantry will be the risky Brigade that will rush in the first chance they get and mainly be distractions to draw the Tangos out and finish them of swiftly and quietly.
2nd CH Brigade - Heavy - This Brigade is the Special Brigade, this brigade is for the following: Division Trainers, Platoon Commanding Officers, Skilled Operators(Not SOCOM), and finally E8a+.
To get into more detail about Heavy: -Division Trainers are the men that would help assist Brigade COs assist or host trainings in bases for the Division to help improve and better anything we may lack. -Platoon Commanding Officers are Commission Officers and is a Second Lieutenant job(O1+), PCOs lead 5 men. -Skilled Operators are the members that have been noticed for doing well in everything they do and is very hard to get such title. -And last but not least any and all Master Sergeant+.
Something for all to know is that in order to be out of the Training Brigade you must be a E2-E9b and must be approved by the Brigade CO, Division XO, and the Division CO to be made official. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To be a Brigade CO you must be a Second Lieutenant(O1)+. Brigade COs would get the rank of O3(Captain) and may be promoted to O4(Major) if I see that they know how to do their job and not just do it for the rank.
To be a Platoon CO a brigade must be a Second Lieutenant(O1)+, and have at least 5 soldiers in a brigade and the Brigade CO must approve.
There is also a position open currently as of 1/6/13 that DXO is available to apply for, be a O1+ and send a Application and hope to be the one.
