I tried to learn BodyGyro using Lua Learners, but their tutorial of it is outdated. Could anyone please explain how I use BodyGyro and how to edit it?
Thanks, -Renas... |

| Please look at the wiki and tell us what you don't understand. |

No, not Wikipedia. Roblox Wiki. http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php/BodyGyro |

Well, that is more helpful than the Lua Learners lesson, but I still don't know how to use it efficiently.
Example: I want to create a moving platform (which I did using BodyVelocity) but I need to use BodyGyro (Says a guy who used it in one of his games) in order to keep it "relatively" undisturbed by a player's weight.
Could you help me with this, please? |

| LuaLearner's BodyGyro isn't outdated. You just don't understand it. Just because video quality is bad doesn't mean it's outdated. ROBLOX hasn't updated it since then. |

@rosen
You're right actually, I was looking at the wrong property sets when I was viewing them both at the same time. Either way, I still don't understand BodyGyro |

Also, don't use BodyGyro.
Instance.new('BodyForce', character.Torso).force = Vector3.new(0, 196.2*character.Torso:GetMass(), 0) |

Do you understand what lookVector is and tweening guis? Well if you do, and you know how to change a part's lookvector, then, changing the bodygyro is basically change the lookVector but it's like tweening it. |

This person who you were talking to has no idea what he's doing. Look at what Absurdism did. |

| Also, if you don't want it to have physics in it just anchored it and just CFrame it. |
