How do you make a text button to where you can type in it? I can't seem to figure it out, and I think it has something to do with scripting? |

No, try using a TextBox.

| Ok I did that, but how do I have it stop at a certain point, so the text doesn't go off of the gui/text box. |

use the .changed event and check if textfits(property in the textbox), if it doesnt use a loop to subtract the last letter until it fits.
