In one post Bad: Alabama:
-Terrible corners in the 1st half -No momentum -O-Line couldnt handle the rush -AJ McCarron got scared.
Oklahoma -Also had terrible corners 1st half -Not as much talent as Alabama, played their heart out though -Secondary not good at handling Derek Henry -----
The just:
Alabama needs to re-establish their offensive line, big time. Kouandjio was obviously having serious problems. AJ McCarron wasn't able to trust his team mates (for good reason, he got sacked SEVEN TIMES), and so he couldn't trust them to play to his full potential and throw the ball downfield, which is what Alabama needed most. Oklahoma's game plan was right where it needed to be. Attack the corners and pressure the QB. Their secondary was torched in the 1st half but not before intercepting AJ McCarron two times in a great team effort.
They established a lead and managed it very well. They kept their foot on the gas (which is what I said they would need to do) and they pressured AJ McCarron 100% of the time. They sealed the win because of all of the above with the fumble for a touchdown. Bob Stoops and the Sooners came into the game knowing they had the right game plan and didn't slow down after a 2 minute touchdown by Alabama. Alabama struggled to keep any good momentum in the 4th quarter. GG Oklahoma.
Next year for Alabama:
Derek Henry will be a beast. He has just enough power to him to zip by the O-Line and get short yards if he needs to, he has good ball protection, and he can break tackles like a beast. If Derek Henry and Amari Cooper had taken more short passes/runs, I don't think I would be here breaking down Alabama's loss. Amari Cooper also did excellent against the secondary, breaking tackles like mad. And honestly, after this game, I can foresee Derek Henry going on to be better than Trent Richardson.
Alabama will also run into great problems on offense in other positions though. Who will take over as quarterback, and can he play up to the potential of AJ McCarron? Can the O-Line improve? Major questions.
With Vinnie Sunseri and HaHa Clinton Dix, I would expect much better out of the Alabama secondary next year. But I also noticed, where were our tight ends? Im not sure if they didn't get playing time or if they just went past me. I miss Brad Smelley from a few years back, because he was a good person to dump the ball off to if there wasn't another option, and I feel like we may be missing a critical part of our offense. But most of all, I would like to see Alabama get a dual threat quarterback.
AJ McCarron would run if he had to, but he was barely a dual threat quarterback. If our quarterback could run, we wouldn't be faced with so many critical 4th downs that the offense seems to dread. This is where I liked McElroy, he wasn't Johnny Manziel, but he had the balls to:
1. Block (if he had to) 2. Run
Even though he was short and not much of a power offense player, he was gutsy enough to go for it, unlike AJ McCarron. But I expect to see Nick Saban come out with another good quarterback in one way or another, seeing how well he developed AJ McCarron. Another key is leadership. AJ McCarron's leadership and (before the Oklahoma game) ability under pressure pulled Alabama out of many holes (and almost out of the Texas A&M loss)
Alabama fans rejoice, roll tide.

| Oklahoma probably watched the film from the Auburn game and knew if they could control the flow of the game Bama's defense would suffer. Because when Oklahoma ran a no huddle, we all saw that Bama's defense couldn't keep up with the pace. |

| Whatever Alabama talked about in the locker room worked though, that's for sure. The secondary improved a LOT but the offense got way worse. |
