Anyone interested in helping me make some Gui-Games? I want to have playable games at my Realistic Chuck E. Cheese's for the visitors. If you're interested in helping me with this project, please let me know. :D
Thanks, WrightRacer3n |

:o That sounds cool! :D If you want to help me with this project, just let me know. If you were to make Gui-Games to be used, your name will be in the credits! I'd appreciate all the help and support I can get.

Ah, gui games. I always found them more visually appealing when you add a new chat system and a leaderboard, just a suggestion! :3

If you want, i probably could port my whole game to a low-resolution 3 fps gui game.

Heh, DiamondBladee! :D Thanks! My idea is to have coins (earnable and/or buyable) that'll be used to play these games in-game. It'll work off of a Gui or Leadeboard system that tells how many coins and tickets you have. You earn tickets from the games that can be converted into in-game prizes. :D

Suggestion for making Gui games on roblox: don't. Roblox is a horrible engine for sprites n such. |

LOL.. Maybe just have some games spawn players to a certain point where they can be involved in certain games, eh? :D

@moryo
Actually it's perfectly fine.
You can kill all default keyboard connections by putting layer's characters in ServerStorage.
This allows us to be really flexible with our 2D games, since most 2D games require reprogramming of WASD and the arrow keys...

@Diamond, I never said the controlling aspect of roblox's engine is bad. I'm saying it's not built for 2d sprite games. It's not optimized, and will more likely than not lag to oblivion. Even if not, good luck getting textures to look nice. |

Very true, if only ROBLOX allowed Construct 2 to be imported.. :3

I've tested the Roblox gui to it's limits multiple times. I've never had a single crash related to lagging guis.
For example, in the stamper tool that we used long ago? Yeah, that has around 50 gui objects on the screen at a time.
And lag should never be a problem on Roblox. If it is, you are doing something wrong.

| 50 Gui objects? That's not that much when you're talking about making a gui game. With many many smaller guis and guis that are moving... |

| @Diamond, 50 Gui objects on screen is considerably less than to be expected in a "recreation" of a game like terraria. You're looking at 300+ objects on screen at once, not including constant sidescrolling. |

The war is heating up, as we go to commercial break. xP Alright guys, we've gotta add more drama. LOL jk And we're back.. I've never made a Gui with that many objects in it, so I don't know although that Stamper Tool thing did have quite a few parts and now it has even more with the ability to change the shape of the terrain brick.

Chain war, sounds like a 2-D minigame of extreme tug-of-war *wink wink*.
