You see, game marketing is extremely difficult. First of all, creating a decent game takes loads of effort and time, and showcase builds aren't respected as much as those generic BUILD TO SURVIVE FLYING SPAGHETTI MONSTER or something. If your game has no scripts then you have no chance at getting a good place because stubborn players always want the "best quality" games.
Second of all, ads can be quite an expense for people that don't know how to make them since they have to buy them. On top of all that, you have to bid money into the ad in order for it to run.
This process can take months and usually has a poor outcome if all these steps are not follow EXACTLY WORD FOR WORD.
This is the only thing I dislike about ROBLOX.
Anyone agree?

Disagree completely.
I can make fully playable well scripted games in a day with a bit of effort.
You just got to know how to market.
As you make a game answer these questions:
'What will make them stay' 'What do they find fun' 'Do they have a goal' 'Are certain parts boring?'
And such.
Its incredibly easy. Just because you can't reach front page doesn't mean it needs to be easier. Looking at the front page people don't really shoot for top quality.
As for ads? Find sponsors. If its a good game, rich people will sponsor. What will get them click the ad? Put yourself in their position. If you saw it, would you click it? |

@OxyNoob
Your game has only 1 visit.
So you were saying about making quality games in 1 day? |

It seems to me that the current system promotes investment in games. Like you, said, it takes time to make something of quality. And then advertising takes a lot of thought and creativity as well. Those strike me as good things.
i suppose my question is what parts of the process do you specifically feel need chaning? And what sorts of suggestions do you have for those changes? |

| Agreed. Also most of the popular games are free modeled or copied crap. |

And also, I made this account for the sole purpose of seeing how fast I can get rich.
I have lots of ad money and already bought BC. I like my chances. I can build well. I can script well. I have over 10+ games on my computer saved that I can also upload.

@Xero
I feel that the current change that should be made is a limited amount of tix or robux that can be bid into the bidder for ads.
For example: Only The Wealthy have enough to put in 9k+ Tix Or Robux into the bidder so their ad will appear multiple times.
This kinda oppresses the less wealthy into spending all their money on 1 ad.
So basically saying that there should be a maximum for ad bidding like 500 Tix or Robux so everybody has a chance to advertise their game. |

No. I believe that the rich people should have the right to take over the ad systems.
Welcome to the real world, this can help prepare you for the future. There will always be somebody shadowing you in great wealth, who knows? Maybe you can become that great wealth.
A challenge is fun. It also helps set goals. |

But where will NBC'ers get all this money?
Do you expect it to come from thin air?
Or do you want children reaching into their parents wallets countless times.
Think about it, this isn't real life.
Rich may be the most influential in real life, but this is ROBLOX mate. |

NO NO NO!
This is how it works:
Rich nab copies a game Rich nab makes a stupid barney ad or something People click on the ad and play the rich nab's copied game Rich nabs game gets popular, and legit game which wasnt copied doesnt make money
Or the rich nab makes a crappy tycoon And people play his lousy tycoon he makes a stupid barney ad or something for the game the noobs get attracted to the ad/tycoon game (since most noobs play tycoons) the noobs play the game then the noobs leave tycoon and play some random OD'ing/RP'ing or some cheesy fighting game on the front page (For example: Build a hideout and fight) creator makes money
The other outcome is someone makes an OD'ing game Mass population of OD'ers plays it Creator makes money
These are just a few of the outcomes, we cant do anything about it. The people are what influence this.

| Well that's where watching how the audience responds to the games made. Usually making something different will get you noticed faster than something more generic. |
