This forum post is dedicated towards how some high ranks are getting complaints of me commanding when not needed, or commanding when I have no permission. Apparently, trainees are complaining to higher ranks that I have commanded at our fort without any high rank permission. I'd just like to put an end to this rumor. I ALWAYS ask for permission when taking command. Each time I enter our fort, I go to the Major + there and ask if I can practice commanding for Lieutenant rank. I never command without permission from an Officer. There are also some complaints of how I 'command when un-needed'. There is never an unneeded time to command when you're being raided. And, most of the times you claim I AM 'commanding when unneeded' are times you need to be commanded the most. You complain that I command you when there is only one raider? You complain that I command you to go to Defender chat, not Global, when there is only one raider? Going to defender chat signifies that the raider can not see what we are chatting amongst ourselves. Even if there is only one raider, that one raider is there for one job, to sneak into our base, kill as many of us as possible, and guard a terminal from us. If they see our plans on Global chat, for example I say on Global chat 'I want you and you guarding cliffs, and you, you, and you guarding the bridge.' He would notice that I had not assigned anyone to defend the left cliffs and caves, so he would take that as an open area, and sneak through there. Yes, he can sneak through there without you noticing. Most of the current raiders use camouflage, meaning they color their entire body dark brown to match against the mountainside, and move against it carefully. They go almost always unnoticed, unless you are LOOKING for that actual movement. Using this camouflage, they can sneak past us and take the terminals. You also complain that I give out commands even though there is one raider. Yes, why would I not? If we're all just lounging around, goofing off, not giving a thought or care about the one raider, he could easily get past us and kill us all, and then take one of the terminals. This is why you always need to be focused on the raid, no matter how many raiders there are, and no matter how many TRA are there. Another reason I command if there is one raider is because of skill levels. Lately, the people raiding have been extremely skilled with guns and stealth. Even if it was a server of 10 TRA against the 1 raider, we'd get beaten without an organization. We'd get sniped from afar, we'd get slice and diced, and we'd get sneaked by. I know some of you TRA know some of the previous raiders we've had that are extremely skilled at fighting and sneaking past our defenses. So, please, don't complain about me commanding you with permission when there is only one raider, when we're actually up against a foe that has the skill level of 12 raiders, not 1.

TL;DR Please stop complaining about my commanding, when it's actually a necessity, and I never command without permission. But you won't get all the good stuff if you don't read the passage. |

It's good when a Staff Sergeant already has a lot of leadership actually. Just don't forget that you still are an actual Staff Sergeant and that you can't go too far with commanding. You can give some small orders and that sort of things, but the actual Officers still need to have some work too.
I'm a Lieutenant since a short while and I experience much more people listening to you when you're an actual (Junior) Officer, so try not to boss too much around and never try to command a higher rank then you, not even a Lieutenant. It's pretty disrespectful when a lower rank tries to command you while you should command him.
Just some tips above, you did great yesterday but know your limits and keep it up. Good luck! |

And I forgot to say why you shouldn't try to command too much as a SSGT; because the other LRs will get annoyed because of that probably. |

| Also if you command too much, then a LR or a higher rank then you will get very annoyed with you. |

| Also, Art. One raider against 10 Defenders can not get a terminal because there has to be 5 raiders/defenders. Now if the raid was official before hand, you might have something, but I would count that as commanding when unneeded. |

What does that have to do with the fact that TRA is getting worse?

lol
I love arguments on the internet.
The activity with no actual purpose, typing words out to someone you don't know in the hope to achieve a couple egotistic points. |
